I've been looking for a small shed to store trash cans outside, as otherwise they will get water stuck in them which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other bugs. Purchased this when on sale, and came in a small 'flat-pack' box. Though it stated that two people were required to put it together, I was able to put it together alone without much trouble. Just have the screws & a mallet handy closeby (if needed). If using a mallet, put a block of wood or something else against the shed so you're not directly hitting it - For the sides I was able to just pull into place with my hands. Note that they do state in instructions that you will get extra hardware - I think I got about 8 extra screws. so don't be wary if you have extra. The beauty of the design on this is that most of the pieces 'click' into the base and other pieces, so the screws are only needed in the back middle, and the hinges, as well as the top metal bar and lock. With a drill on 1-2 slip, it made quick work of everything. There's no designated spots to install screws for the top metal bar, but if you look at the 'roof' there are spots it should line up with, so just take note when installing the support brace. The pieces are clearly labeled, and the instructions are clear as to what to do. Perhaps the biggest tip I can say is that make sure you have a level surface. I set this up on a concrete pad, and it wasn't 100% flat, which causes the doors not to close properly. I ended up (not seen in the pictures) shimming the right side, which brings it up slightly and is now perfectly aligned. Suncast states that they will not warranty the shed if it was installed improperly - so just take note of that. So far, its been great at keeping out the water and all of my trash cans fit inside (inside of each other). The only downside I could see is that you do need to open the top lid before opening the doors - Not a deal-breaker and I saw this in other reviews and instructions before purchasing, but just to note in case that makes a difference for you. There's no lock provided, but has an 'insert' into the right door to use one if you would like. Since this is plastic, I wouldn't put anything too valuable in it, as even with a lock I'm sure you could get into it if you wanted to.     • Well made 10 years strong W/abuse
This is my second of this model of shed. Not because of issues but because the other one I had is 10 years old, still going strong and I wanted a second one now. Used to house my generator and last year I added vent cutouts to the shed. Later drug it across the yard and its now houses my running pool pump system with the vents and openings I made. The new shed I bought is going to house the generator again but just as storage and not with the added vents. These sheds are well built and will stand the test of time. ... show more

This game flat packed and required assembly. If one has appropriate tools as I do, assembly was relatively straightforward. The plastic is a bit flimsy until fully assembled. The fit of the doors and parts is a bit rough so as long as you don’t expect silky smooth opening and closing, it does it’s job just fine ... show more

    • Great protector for outdoor generator project
The media could not be loaded. I live in Texas and we had a horrible freeze last year My son wanted me to have a way to have electricity If the power went out. So had electrician put this together and put my new generator in it with vents etc that he added. It is well built easy to put together We have had rain and no leaking inside. Very satisfied Haven’t had it long so not sure of durability ... show more
