I got these mainly to protect my newest tattoos on my arm from the sun especially for when I’m out for long periods of time such as swimming. They are comfortable enough for me and I love that there is different colors to go with your outfit of choice. I haven’t tried them swimming yet as it’s not swimming season but I’m excited to see how they goes, but I have wore them for bike riding and walks and it’s very helpful. You can still see tattoos through the material but that doesn’t bother me, my main important thing is protection from the sun. I had issues with my order and the person got back to me next day and willing to work with me and sent me brand new package and it was extra helpful. Very happy with the product and service. I bought these for a little extra support in my arms and also as protection against scrapes and cuts while working on vehicles and DIY projects. They are great. They are comfortable - I have some other more serious compression sleeves, but the elastic at the top irritates my arms, these don't. They are durable. but do snag once in a while, but that is better than tearing up my arms, so they are working. Nice sleeves but become meely after the 1st wear. Nice and soft. Provide proper sun protection. They just get little pieces of material balled up when wear (meely). Makes them not look too nice but great for mowing the yard when it is hot. These are great for working, not for show!

I bought several different arm sleeves to try. These were the most comfortable and much less expensive. They are lighter weight than the more costly ones and have a gentle stretch, which make them more comfortable to wear. They stay in place well on my normal size arms. The fabric is thick enough that it should provide good sun protection, although I don't have a way to judge that. I haven't worn them for long periods in direct sun. They will snag, so suggest that you hand wash or turn inside out if you put them in the washer. The more expensive arm sleeves are heavier, with a more robust stretch, but I found them less comfortable to wear. Those sleeves felt tight around my upper arm and elbow, and they were warmer in hot weather. Since they are heavier, they will probably last longer. ... show more

I really like the ability to provide my hand and arm added sun protection. After just one wash, the fine treads on the cut ends hems at both ends unravels in the wash and wrapped around other garments. One seam came out completely. I'm always surprised when I put these on that they actually are cooling! I get them to protect my arms from fuzzy plants that I get rashes from when I'm gardening. They provide some protection when brushing up against prickly plants like thistle. There are plants with velcro-like seeds that stick to everything - it's nice that these are inexpensive enough to throw one or two away if there are too many stuck to them. I find that they wash well enough for gardening (I don't wear them out and about). These are great for my needs, I have skin that tears very easy and I get deep purple burses almost to the touch, so I try to protect my arms as much as possible. The only thing that I don't like about these is that the stretch around the top is too small, I am in my late 70's, so I have the old lady arms to go with it and they measure 13 inches, I can not wear these above my elbows as they are way to tight. So far mine have washed well, but I do hand wash them, I wear them in the pool also and they seem to be standing up well from that also. They are a really great by for the money!! ... show more
