Could Not Ask For a Better Golf Travel Bag

I don't write many reviews, but I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my ClubGlider bag during my recent trip to Scotland. Like other reviewers noted, I was able to maneuver this bag through the airport parking lot and the terminal with one finger. The bag really does "glide" around unlike any golf travel bag I have used before. I removed the heads from my woods and stored them wrapped in a towel in my golf bag and I used a club protector and support. Everything arrived in perfect condition, including the bag itself. The bag also looks great and was easily distinguishable compared to other travel bags and I'm really happy with the forest green color I chose. TL;DR: the bag checked every box: durability, protection, function, and comfort. Would be a great club travel bag even *without* its fold-down wheels that make it so maneuverable. Those just put it over the top as the best golf travel bag I've ever used.

Makes clubs weightless - move with 1 finger! Want a matching carry-on now

I cannot explain what a delight this bag was at the airport! ONE FINGER to pull it every direction - side to side, forward and backwards didn’t make a difference, it’s beyond reason to believe how “weightless” my bag felt. Beyond what I expected. I’ve rented clubs when traveling because honestly when I’ve traveled with my SO and his clubs I saw how annoying it could be and I just wasn’t that motivated. He suggested I just buy a travel bag to save money instead of renting clubs on a longer golf trip so I asked a friend about what she used. She pointed me to this bag and the reviews were very convincing. Easy decision, but even still, this bag went above and beyond all expectations. So much better than his traditional golf travel bag - this bag was $100 more than his and worth every penny. On my way home I was searching for a coordinating carry-on suitcase made with the same wheel magic because it blew my mind for my overfilled golf bag to feel lighter and easier to work with than my 4 wheeled carry on suitcase (btw, I didn’t find the coordinating magical carry-on suitcase, but hope they hear me!). Even with the wheels/stand retracted, I was able to stand it on its end and it stayed upright. Not sure if that is typical but it’s the one thing that always annoyed me about traveling with my hub’s clubs, you always had to have hands on it to keep it upright or they were laying on the floor. This stand mechanism keeps them ready to move but allowed me to “let go” all along the way and not skip a beat. Fit: I have a Vessel stand bag and it fit nicely in this bag. My “extras” in this bag: 1 pair of golf shoes, a shirt size packing cube of clothes, a cube of liquids that were too large for my carry on, and random clothing tucked into the two exterior side long pockets, with my golf seat towel wrapped amongst my clubs. Wound up as a perfectly snug fit. Storing it: I folded it into itself and got it down to half its size, so it takes up about the size of US domestic carry-on suitcase but a tad longer/taller. My hub’s golf travel bag squishes down to a small square the size of the base, but I’ll give up the extra closet space for the ease of use for when I’m actually using it. Depends on priorities.

Highly recommend. Amazing. My arms, hands & shoulders no longer hurt dragging my old bag around airports, parking lots & hotels. The extra wheels are a life saver. I was worried the pull out wheels would be too small....I was wrong, they roll with ease across all surfaces. I now pull my travel golf bag around with 1 finger effortlessly. The bag is also much lighter than my old travel bag. This is a must have if you travel woth clubs.

Finally a great travel bag

I absolutely love this bag. Easy to wheel around through big airports. The guys are all thinking about replacing their bags with this one. Extending and collapsing the legs is easier than I thought it would be.

Excellent bag but some concerns

I’ve used the bag on two trips, both had connections, so 4 total destinations with 8 separate flights. The bag rolls like a dream. So easy to navigate airports and those stupid lines with all the ropes. Definitely beats everything else out there. I have the bag system that connects from a different brand and while it’s easy to pull it’s a real pain in the *** to turn with it. So this is definitely top of class. The bag is huge, easy to pack. Ample room for multiple pairs of shoes, hats, extra clothes. 5 stars. Bag quality of materials is top notch as well as far as the bag itself. Super sturdy, feels quality. I’m a little concerned about the rubber soft part on the back. After basically two there-and-back trips, I’ve already got a few holes ripped in the back. They are tiny rips currently, but I travel a lot with my clubs so I’m concerned about how long this thing will last. Given the price, I expected better. The competitor bag I was talking about before lasted me three years of heavy travel and it’s still in one piece. So, we’ll see if I end up reverting back. I hope not because this was an investment to protect my clubs. These things aren’t cheap. So, I’m giving it four stars because literally everything else is great. My last trip my clubs did not arrive with the rest of my luggage. They couldn’t tell me why they were delayed so it’s possible something happened on the way that caused those rips. I’ve got another trip coming up soon and I’ll update this if it gets any worse. All the pictures I’m sharing are of the bag after my two trips.

The Best Travel Bag!
My wife and I are golfers who also love to travel, but let me tell you, every airport trip had us playing a game of “Who Gets the Golf Club Back Pain Today?” One of us (me) always had to drag those clubs through the airport, and trust me, it’s not the kind of workout we signed up for. Then a friend showed up with this absolute gem, and the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew I had to have one. Built with tough-as-nails canvas and sturdy aluminum legs with smooth-bearing wheels, this thing is a game changer. We always use a stiff arm inside (no more crushed clubs!) and tip: take off the driver head before you close it up. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference. With those flip-down legs, not sets of clubs glide behind me like they’re on vacation too. No more wrestling with gear—just a smooth, effortless stroll through the airport. It’s like the golf gods finally threw me a bone!
