Description

Provide your flock with a clean, stable foundation using Sun Joe Chicken Coop Sand. This coarse grade sand is washed, screened, and dried to deliver a consistent, ready-to-use floor surface for chicken coops, runs, and nesting areas. Its carefully graded texture creates a natural, supportive surface that is easier on chickens' feet and legs during daily activity, making it a practical choice for routine poultry care and everyday coop upkeep. The free- flowing coarse grain structure is designed to drain and dry quickly, helping maintain a drier coop floor between cleanings. Because the sand resists clumping, compaction, and moisture retention, daily sifting and waste removal can be faster and easier than with straw, shavings, or soil. This helps reduce soggy patches and keeps the floor surface more consistent over time, making cleanup simpler for poultry owners who want a lower-maintenance bedding option for regular use. This 50-pound bag of poultry sand is sourced from natural mineral deposits near Mauricetown, New Jersey, then washed, screened, and dried for a pure, consistent product. This sand is intended for poultry habitat applications only. Not for sandblasting or construction use, and it should be stored in a dry area between uses. Whether you are lining a backyard coop, refreshing a nesting area, or upgrading a poultry run, this Chicken Coop Sand from Sun Joe is made for dependable habitat use.
