  • Really Assume Product
Pattern Name: Mower
This mower works great. Very easy to use just keep in mind of your electric cord (which is not included). You do have to have it plugged in but you don't have to worrie about batteries. The included grass catcher is very easy to empty and reattach (one hand). I did not have to adjust the hight of the cut. It was just right from the factory. It only takes about 10 minutes to assemble. Once I took it out of the box I used the box to set it on while assembling. My back is not so good. I've been using this mower about 2 times a week for 5 months now and only takes about 10 minutes to mow from start to finish. Of course I only abut 400 sq ft to mow. I highly recomend this mower for smaller jobs. ... show more

  • It works better than I expected
Pattern Name: Mower
I have a really lumpy yard so high back wheels would be way better, but I couldn't justify spending $300 for a gas mower that I might destroy if I find a cinder block half buried in the yard. I've been weed wracking the yard for a while and was hoping to speed up the process. The yard is still a little too overgrown for this little mower, but that's not the mowers fault. The mow heights are way too low though. The bag is small, but packs really well. I wish it had a side discharge. Overall it's better than I expected. ... show more

  • Awesome mower for the price!
Pattern Name: Mower
I bought one of the 14" mowers (MJ401E-P2) for a mid-sized yard and so far have been happy with it. Assembly was easy and it gets a surprising amount of power. Tall grass and moss really don't seem to affect it all that much. Still figuring out a good pattern with the cord but will eventually get there. Had a few weeks worth of grass since my older 13" Greenworks mower dies 50+ times (no exaggeration, literally every freaking row at least 2-3+ times, and with a 13" mower that's A LOT!) The Sun Joe took care of it like it was nothing. Granted I had to empty it a ton but I bought it well aware that it had a smaller bag, so that's not at all an issue. Regular yard maintenance and it's not all that bad. I live up against a hill so the 14" mower at 30 lbs was definitely a must over the heavier 20" option. I have a couple of gripes with the design, but not deducting any stars for it. During assembly I was provided a cord tension part that does not match the manual. It still works but doesn't have the clip for extra support. Also, the single hand lever to activate the mower is terrible. It works and doesn't drop connection like my Greenworks mower did... constantly, but it definitely feels flimsy as I'm pivoting the mower. Not something that feels like it will last long-term. Would much rather have a basic metal bar that can be held 2 hand. However, considering I got this mower at $85, I really can't complain. Especially where gas mowers are at cost-wise (and the cost of gas). Just a thought for future products. Overall, I'd highly recommend this mower. I'll update if anything changes but at this time it been working great! ... show more

  • Upgraded from a reel mower is the best move!!!
Pattern Name: Mower
The electric capabilities and light weight use makes this guy amazing! If you have a small lawn it's perfect. If you have a medium lawn, it's a good workout. Buy a 100ft extension cord and you're good to go. The strategy is to start closest to the outlet and move away. It keeps the cord out of the way. ... show more

  • Much Harder Working Than You Might Think
Pattern Name: Mower
I needed a small mower for the yard area at my shop. I was not willing to spend a truckload of money on a mower because the small yard has a lot of hidden challenges like rocks, bricks, tools people have thrown out (yes, really, I roll my eyes every time I find these), and other things that damage mowers and cause them to have a short lifespan. I have hesitated to get a mower because of these problems, but the yard just looks terrible. I bought the SunJoe electric mower not knowing how it would perform with all these hidden problems PLUS the added bonus of grass/weeds that were now about 2 feet high. This mower is very lightweight, but boy can it perform. First time mowing was by far the worst because the grass was so tall. This mower took care of the grass without complaining, chopped lots of bricks and other stuff (not on purpose, I did my best to miss or move them). I did not use the bag as I figured it would get full too quickly but I DID have to stop and pull the accumulated grass out of the mower every little bit. This mostly happened the first time I mowed. Otherwise it has been able to discharge the grass as it goes. Did I nick the blade? Absolutely. This mower still works fine even with a nicked blade though I have ordered a new one. I have mowed several times since the initial mowing and this thing still works like a champ. This was the best $89 I have spent in quite awhile. ... show more

  • Sturdy little guy
Pattern Name: Mower
I’m not sure what I expected but man this little guy packs a punch and is so quiet for a lawn mower. Has worked perfectly all summer.

  • Quiet
Pattern Name: Mower
We named it 'Turtle', but it mows clean and fast. my only complaint is hard to empty the catcher if you 'forget' and overfill it. No, do not your neighbor borrow it, you won't get it back! LOL, they give it 5 stars.
