I use this hat while outside everyday. I've had it for over a year and it's still in good quality. I love the coverage it gives my face and still allows me to keep my head up. The Velcro to adjust for my larger head is the best part. Also the Velcro being made to look like a bow still keeps the function pretty looking.

I am not a big fan of hats in the summer time because my scalp sweats and gets overheated massively but this was perfect! I wore this on a trip to Punta Cana in the DR in JUNE! Crazy me hot but this was a cute fashionable visor style straw hat. The center was open so my scalp felt the breeze as I wanted it too. The visor blocked the sun from my face as I needed it too. I love the velcro adjustable strap for sizing. I was able to tighten it enough to not blow off in the wind and loosen it enough to cause a headache or migraine. Great quality and very flexible. I was able to fold it up tightly to not take up suitcase space but to also not damage or cause permanent creases.

I purchased this same hat in tan over a year ago and loved it! Stays on well and has a cute little bow in the back on the Velcro strap. When I received the black version, that I recently purchased, there is writing/logo now printed on the strap that holds the visor in place when rolled. It kind of cheapens the look. I wish they didn’t add that. Overall still a nice sun hat.

I am SO glad I bought this hat. I brought it with me to Disney World and Universal Studios. It can roll up really small so was easy to travel with and fit into my day backpack. We were out in the sun for hours for 7 days in a row -- it was rough, but this hat was crucial. I get sun burnt so easily, and didn't at all this trip because of this hat. Throughout most of the day, the shade fully covered my face and most of my neck and shoulder area. I still wore sunscreen though just in case. Yes, it's big but it's structured enough that it's not floppy. I took it off and rolled it up every time we went on a ride or went inside somewhere; it was easy to stow away. Because of the way the hat is shaped, it doesn't cover the back of your neck so if you put your hair up, make sure you have sunscreen back there! Also note that because it doesn't cover the top of your head (like a visor), make sure your hair is not parted. My part got a little sunburned the first day I wore it but then I learned my lesson. The next days, my bobby pins would get really hot from the sun, but that was much better than a sunburned head! This hat is now my go-to staple for all summer outings!
