Great replacement for old worn seat!
Imagine yourself in this scenario.. After finding that perfect camouflaged spot to place your tree stand, you climb up the ladder as slowly and quietly as you possibly can to not be spotted or heard by that beautiful Buck you have been tracking. You get to the top of the stand, slowly go to sit down, and all of the sudden.. SNAP! Your seat snaps and you feel like your whole life has flashed before your eyes and now the whole forest knows you are there. This seat was the perfect replacement to my old worn snapped seat and it was the perfect universal fit to my older stand. The camouflage pattern is excellent and the seat feels sturdy and comfortable. I would recommend this seat replacement to anyone who is looking to comfortably and safely sit out on a tree stand.

My husband likes this better than the original. Bigger and very well made.
My husband just returned from a four day solo hunting trip deep in the mountains. We had ordered this seat just prior to him going. I scoffed at the price because I don't know a thing about hunting and it seemed to me that a pillow shouldn't cost $35.00. However, my husband, who has hunted since he was a teen, had done research and was intent on getting this Summit Treestands seat. He told me that he was glad he did. After using it for hours on end in some crazy weather, he has a pretty good idea of the quality. He said the seat was bigger than the original which made him much more comfortable. He felt the padding was great and workmanship was superior. Although not water resistant, the seat held up well to the elements and wasn't too heavy to haul around. I know nothing about hunting but my husband is an expert. He hunts constantly during deer season. He is very happy with this seat - happier than he expected to be in fact. He read a few negative reviews and was a bit concerned but overall, he says he couldn't ask for more. He's very happy with this seat and will be using it a lot this season and for seasons to come. Should he experience any issues as he uses the seat more, I will come back and update and rerate but, for now, hubby says to give it 5 stars. He's picky about his equipment whether it is hunting, fishing, photography, or hiking and, if there was a flaw that he saw or felt, he would have reported back to me and rated it lower. For this sportsman , the Summit Treestands Seat is just what he wanted and then some. To me, it's a camo pillow. But whatever makes him comfortable and happy is OK with me.

Easy install
I waited way too long to replace the original seat. It head up well for many seasons, but really started to deteriorate to the point where the straps were separating from the seat itself. I was concerned that it would be difficult to switch them out, but the instructions made it very easy. The only time consuming part was trying to balance the adjustment buckles for my comfort. These seats really enable me to have long, comfortable sits.

Nothing is perfect
This is the OEM seat for the Summit stands. If you need a replacement this is exactly like the one that came on your stand. Should fit any Summit climber that use a back rest, possibly the others, but I don't know for sure.

Perfect
After many years, it was time to replace the seat. These are the most comfortable stands I have ever owned. Found this on sale and had to grab it.

try it! it's a new level of comfort
For the price I figured I couldn't go wrong. I have a sling seat which eventually wore out tot he point that the straps are all that remains. Putting this universal seat over the straps has changed my life! It's amazing. The foam traps some heat, molds to my body, and it's nice that the back comes up a little towards my upper back. The bungees are not long enough to get around my tree, but the tree is a 100 year-old oak so not much can get around that anyways. Look, buy this seat and try it. At the very worst you can find another spot for it if it doesn't work out at your primary stand. Make sure to pull it down and take it in after the season. The seat is probably not constructed to last more than 3 months of total 24-7 time outside. That would be the only drawback.

Good seat for api grandslam
I could not find a api replacemeant. I left my stand out and the sqacks ruined my seat. I checked around and thought i would try this one. This is my second one cause i have 2 api grandslams. I use covers when i am hunting heavy. But love the quick buckles to take them out when i am not going to hunt for a few days. I can take the seat loose or put it on in just a second. They are comfortable and adjustable. I like to sit low, but if you prefer sitting high you can. I would like to know the dif in the 45$ and the improved 125$ one. I can't see a dif. I would not give 125$ for one anyway.
