  • High Quality for Price!
Color: Matte Black
Excellent electronic ear protection! Comfortable with ultra-slim design, great noise cancellation as well as precise left/right isolation & no static or cutting out. For an additional $9.00, I upgraded to these ISOtunes DEFY Slim from Walker Razor Slim Electronic — the difference in noise cancellation & sound control quality is remarkable & well worth the minimal price difference. Highly recommend. *I do store & transport these in ISOtunes LINK Shell Case to avoid cord or wiring damage. ... show more

  • Good Ear Protection, But... Good Ear Protection, But...
Color: Od Green
I was looking for another set of ear protection for guests I take to the range so I picked these up. I already have a set of Walker's Razor Slims, which is the most popular brand by far, that I can compare these to. However, The Walker's can be had for roughly $40 while these were $60 when I picked them up. Is it worth the price difference? We'll see. The version I have of these are the Slim Basics and they are definitely bulkier than the Walker's. IMO, they don't feel as quality of a product as the Walker's either, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker for me. It's a slight difference, though. I'm not at the range to look pretty and stylish. I prefer function over form. How do they feel when I put them on? Well, the padding around the ears is not as soft as the Walker's and I FEEL like they don't cover my ears quite as good either. What I mean by that is that if feels like the top of my ear is slightly scrunched down with these whereas with the walker's it is not. Almost as if the cutout for the ear is slightly smaller. Is it uncomfortable? Not really, but I can definitely tell the difference. Also, the version I have do not have Bluetooth and it does have an unprotected audio jack, but I'm not into that or the audio jack anyways so it's no big deal. I just want sound protection while I'm at the range, not for listening to podcasts or music. How do they work at the range? While the Walker's offer a 23db noise reduction these only offer 20db but, TBH, I couldn't really tell the difference. I shot both 9mm and shotgun that day and these worked great. I was able to shoot and still hear the people around me just fine using the volume button. So, from a sound suppression standpoint these work as advertised and I would have no problems using them again. So, is it worth the $20 price difference from the Walker's? No, they are not. However, at the time of this review I see the price dropped to $40 but, still, if you can get the Walker's for the same price why wouldn't you? IMO, the Walker's are the mid-range ear protection to beat so you you're either going to need to beef up your set with new features the Walker's don't offer or you have to undercut them in price, neither of which these do. However, I wouldn't NOT recommend these if you really wanted them. I think from a function perspective they work as good as the Walker's, so if function is your main driver then go ahead and pick these up. I don't think you will be disappointed. In fact, I will be keeping these for any guests I take in the future. ... show more

  • Great hearing protection Great hearing protection
Color: Od Green
Very compact. Lightweight and comfortable. They have an excellent build quality with a great sort of rubberized tactical field that even with shooting gloves you can get a grip on all the controls. They don’t look cheap and the appearance is functional The ear cushions are comfortable and leave room for your eye protection. The microphone is fine and the stereo sound allows you to not only hear range commands but it gives you an idea of what direction the sounds are coming from. This can be very important in the training session. The headband gives just enough clamp to seal your ears without being all that uncomfortable. We can wear these for quite a while. I love that it takes regular batteries and it has a automatic shut off in case you forget to turn them off. It’s supposed to last for 300 hours so we’ll see how that goes. I also appreciate that it has a realistic noise reduction rating of 20 instead of some of the more optimistic numbers. This is fine for outside shooting but for an indoor range you might wanna double up with some foam earplugs as well. It has a headphone jack so you can plug your phone in and actually listen to tunes. It’s not like Beats or anything but it sounds OK. I was surprised that I actually had the ability to take a phone call on the gun range. So that was a bit of a surprise. They seem to be pretty sweat proof and easy to and easy to wipe down and clean. They don’t come with a case and that’s an issue for some. My husband especially. He really gets ticked off when things don’t come with cases. But our bag has a space for headphones so I just put them in there. All in all a great value since I’ve seen things like these cost hundreds of dollars. But these will do just fine. ... show more

  • Ok for pistol range - not rifle Ok for pistol range - not rifle
Color: Od Green
These don't have the sound deadening qualities of more expensive ear muffs, but they are suitable for pistol shooting - I wouldn't recommend a rifle range with this without doubling up with ear plugs as well. I also feel that the spring force on them isn't that strong. Maybe that is a matter of comfort, but I prefer if they were to squeeze a little more and feel they would work better that way - but maybe some people don't like that. The microphone and cutout work as good as others though. So overall - great, lightweight, and decent enough quality for pistols. Might want something else for rifles. ... show more

  • Sensitive mics but good overall Sensitive mics but good overall
Color: Od Green
I have this set of earmuffs (basic non-Bluetooth version) as well as the Bluetooth version from ISOTunes. This version is mising the second dial on one muff for controlling the volume of your Bluetooth device. Music sounds alright but I certainly would not use these as a replacement for a decent set of headphones for listening to music. You can see in my picture that the only other real difference is the microphone. This pair appears to have an inserted black plastic piece for the microphone, whereas the Bluetooth version just has slits cut directly into each earmuff. To my untrained ear though, they both behave pretty much identically, meaning, they both pick up every tiny little noise. I will only use these while shooting so if you are the same, I would recommend these over the Bluetooth version since they otherwise seem virtually identical. I have never owned or used a more expensive pair of earmuffs so I cannot comment on how these compare to more expensive ones as already mentioned, these are extremely sensitive. If you stick your hand in your pocket, you will hear it, that sensitive. That doesn't really bother me. I keep the volume very low while shooting and I was still able to hear the guy with me speak while minimizing how much background noise I heard. If you really need the Bluetooth, I think these are still a good option if you don't want to spend a fortune but if the lack of Bluetooth isn't a deal breaker, then personally, I'd go with this version at about half the price. ... show more

  • Amazing headphones
Color: Od Green
These are wonderful at the range. I received these because I was in the market for some new hearing protection. PROS: Excellent noise cancellation - These things rock. When noise cancellation is active they do an amazing job of letting me hear whats going on around me, and they block out all the loud noises to keep range trips hearing safe. Great comfort - They fit great and have an adjustable head strap so they can fit anyone. They fit myself great and also fit my 12 year old son. The padding is unobtrusive and comfortable as well. Style - They just look good. The build quality is solid as well and they look and feel much higher end than the price suggests. CONS: Battery life - While these last a whole range trip no problem, if I forget to charge them afterwards they will die midway through the next range trip. This isn't really a huge issue for me. No case - I wish these came with a case or bag. Once again, this isn't an issue, but would be nice to have. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend these for anyone looking for some quality noise cancellation headphones that don't break the bank. ... show more

  • Protect your hearing & hear what’s going on around you with these.
Color: Od Green
4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ These hearing protectors have active electronics that listen to the sound around you, and let you hear it by little headphone type speakers that shut off when the device detects a noise loud enough to hurt your ears. You can control the volume to some extent of the sound around you, but it’s a little low, and sounds a little noisy, and a little distorted- like listening to a far away radio station, but it’s not terrible, just weird, but at least you’ll be able to hear people trying to talk to you, and also hear what’s going on around you, which is difficult to impossible with just plain old ear muffs that block everything. These also have an input for a radio, or your phone, so you can use these for tactical use with team mates, though I haven’t tested that function. They are comfortable, and easy to use, and take 2 AAA batteries (which are included, along with an audio cable). I tested these around the house with loud sounds- drums, clapping, and they seem to work as intended- I will update this after taking them shooting if there are any changes necessary. Bottom line- these do what they are supposed to- just not super high end, but acceptable for amateur use. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and liking. ... show more

  • IDENTICAL to $90 Axil! IDENTICAL to $90 Axil!
Color: Od Green
If I had to guess I'd say the manufacturer is the same one outsourced by Axil because the specs and design are identical! Only thing different is the name and the colors! I paid $90 plus shipping for the Axil brand and these are $30 less. They work well and the passthrough audio sounds the same as well. They are comfortable for short use but just like the Axils after a while the tight compression starts to hurt your head especially if wearing glasses. That said it's hard to list anything else unpleasant about them. Might as well save the $20 and buy these instead of paying more for a brand name..... everything is made in China these days so I'm not surprised to get a hold of an exact copy of the brand name. Materials all feel the same between the two...virtually indistinguishable from the higher price competitor! ... show more
