  • Useful for many things
Got it for working on my motorcycle. Wish the range was little wider but still is a useful tool. Nice craftsmanship, sturdy and good quality. Not sure how to periodically check the calibration though.

  • The right tool for a job for something I love to do and I did it myself.
The scale was alittle hard to read, had to get a magnifying glass to read it. I did enjoyed using it. Pretty cool, but then I really my tools, especially if I have the right tool for the job.

  • Sadly it only lasted a year
Used it about 3 times. always took the battery out when finished. Now it will not turn on. Just goes to 4 zeros and off.

  • Great Torque Wrench - Watch the Display
My other digital torque wrenches were for higher values. This is a nice wrench for smaller torque values. Beware there is no way to set a value and no audio indication when a value is reached - you have to watch the display.

  • Seems to work well
Purchased this torque wrench for a hotel remodel project I'm doing. Needed something on the smaller side. It will get a lot of use. Need to torque allen screws on the sliding barn door rails. 7 screws each door times 387 doors. Hope it holds up. So far for the first week it seem to work well with the exception of the fit of the allen head tips. The metric 5mm tip does not fit snugly and gets twisted and stuck in the screwhead. Need to wiggle it every time to get it loose. Other than that it is a very nice tool. I can see where I will need to buy more 5mm tips. My regular 5mm wrench fits perfectly. Don't understand the sloppy fit of the tip that came with the wrench. I will update when it gets more use. But for now I am pleased with it. Update on torque wrench. May 28th. The torque wrench has been on the jobsite for nearly 3 months now. They are using the heck out of it. Tightened over 1200 screws and the tip finally broke. I don't think it's any fault of the manufacturer. Purchased a new 3/8 drive socket w/5mm tip for $2 at the local home store. Works great. Wrench is holding up very well. Changed the batteries when needed and it keeps on ticking. Seem to be accurate enough for our purposes. Well worth the price. ... show more

  • Good tool for weekend warriors
Works great and easy to use. Digital read out could be clearer for quicker reading of torque values.

  • Cannot be set and cannot be used unless you can see display
Discovered there is no way to set a torque value - if there is a buzzer, it never went off and instructions are so minimal that it mentions pretty much nothing about when, if ever, the buzzer goes off. No info on how to set a torque value at which it would buzz, so this one is only useful if you can see the display - useless if you are using it under a vehicle, for example, at an angle where you cannot see the display. I had to return it and buy a different torque wrench. Too bad since this one was pretty short and would have been good for tight spaces. ... show more
