I have had many many memory foam mattresses and toppers, and I like medium/firm ones. So I actually don't really like this product but if you are looking for a SOFT memory foam topper, this is the absolute best ban for your buck. I am reviewing the 4 inch topper. I am 140LBs. The 4 inches plus how soft it is mean you get that insanely nice "memory foam" feeling where it actually sinks to the shape of your body, which is amazing for side sleepers. It's perfect for that. But I'm not always a side sleeper, and it's soft enough to where if you do not want a soft mattress, and you sleep on it like you normally would on a firm mattress, you're going to throw out your back. This memory foam topper: - Has really good density (for the price) - Closest comparison I can genuinely make to it would be a $400+ product I've had in the past So if you've been looking for a memory foam topper and you actually want it to feel more like real memory foam instead of some other type of foam, this is the one. It doesn't bounce back up immediately. You can actually press down your hand like the advertisements and have it stay like that for a significant amount of time, but at the same time, it's not so soft that a light press makes it do that. Only the "center" of my body ends up going in more than an inch or two into it. My legs do not. The pillow area does not, unless I have my arms up against it behind my head. I bought this for $79 for a king. It's currently $100. Would I have bought it for $100? No. Is it worth $100? Yes. Is it worth $120? Yes. Is it worth $150? Yes. And this is me saying that and I don't even like soft mattresses.

Item came as described and earlier than originally reported. Directions said may have to let the pad "rest" 24 to 48 hours, I didn't, put it on the mattress and slept on it that night. Very comfortable and seemed cool. Happy with purchase and service.

UPDATE. SMELL GONE SFTER FIRST DAY. SO COMFORTABLE! NO MORE SORE NACK AND HIPS. AWESOME. WORTH BUYING. Very comfortable on top of my mattress. I needed just that extra support that it gives. It does have a smell THAT GOES AWAY AFTER THE FIRST DAY. So no worries I recommend this topper.

I researched and read a lot of reviews. I saved this one and Amazon notified me when it was on sale, and there was also a coupon. It was worth the wait. We love this mattress topper. It is a little firmer than expected but so comfortable and we like it a lot. I sleep much better and no more aches and pains. It shipped and expanded quickly. We let it sit overnight to fully expand. No smell at all! Would definitely buy again!

From day one, this mattress topper has been nothing but a headache. It completely loses its shape the moment someone lies down — within minutes, it flattens out and offers zero support. Even worse, the edges puff up and cause my husband and I to slide toward the middle of the bed all night, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The cover material is slick and cheap, so our sheets constantly come loose and bunch up, adding to the discomfort. We wake up sore, frustrated, and exhausted. For the price, I expected basic functionality at the very least — instead, it’s been a total waste of money. I regret this purchase and would never recommend it to anyone.

We bought this 4 inch foam pad for our aging, really hard mattress. It has transformed our horrible bed into an oasis that we love to sleep in! We are both large adults at 220lbs and 250lbs and the foam is firm enough that we don't just sink right to the bottom, which is an issue with many cheap foam toppers. We're older and both have arthritis and back issues and the topper is very supportive and has eliminated hard, painful contact points. This topper has alleviated many of our pain issues and we both wake up feeling much more refreshed. We do not find that it sleeps "hot" like some people experience. Even our elderly dog loves it! It's easy to care for, we just re center it on the bed each time we change the sheets. It might move maybe 1/2 inch off center, if even that, during the week. We have a waterproof terry cover for it that works great. The foam has not broken down at all and pops right back up when we get out of bed. With that said, I think it works so well for us because our mattress is so incredibly hard, like sleeping on plywood hard. I don't think we would have the same therapeutic sleep if our mattress was soft or even medium firmness. After it arrived I went to the company website and saw that they offer one with a bamboo cover. Had I known that was available I would have bought that one instead of the one without the cover.

Very nice quality and feel, and very nice company. Really wanted this to work for cooling, but slept hotter than without the extra mattress cover. It would work well to cushion a firm or worn mattress as long as you don't need cooling.
