I love this printer for sublimation printing! I've been using it regularly since I bought it without any issues. Color is great and my products come out wonderfully. I am now looking to find this in a wide format because I really like how great it is.     • Much better than I expected!
I did some thorough research on sublimation printers before I purchased this one. It got the best reviews for my price range. I was honestly expecting trouble setting it up and using it, but nothing could be further from the truth. It was easy to set up and calibrate and worked great from the very first print. The colors are clean and crisp. It was super easy to connect to my home internet service and very clear instructions were provided. I've only used it a couple of times in the 5 days I've had it but have had no problems at all. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space, which is vital for my already overloaded craft room. It's not noisy at all. Filling it was super simple and there was no mess at all with the ink bottles. I've made a couple of shirts and cups. Thus far, it doesn't seem to guzzle ink. I'm delighted with it and feel that I made the best possible choice. The only 'negative' isn't really about the printer at all, but the sublimation paper that comes with it. It's super hard for me to tell which is the 'right' side on which to print! It would be so handy to have some kind of mark on the 'wrong' side so I don't screw that part up! I'm hopeful that I'll get the hang of that. ... show more

    • NEW, Returned due to Manufacture defect, received a refurbished product in return -UPDATE: BAD!
UPDATE 12-25: Time did tell! After getting only about 5-6 prints, apparently some of the color printheads have clogged.I ran all of the maintenance steps to clean them, to no avail. I then attempted to run the Power Cleaning, which is recommended as a last step. I get a message that I needed to replace the maintenance box, even though the settings indicated that I still had some capacity left on the box. It would require me to purchase a $25 maintenance box, just to run it through the Power Cleaning -- which the manual states, could shorten the life of the maintenance box quicker -- and I have no idea if the clog would be cleared up. I have spent countless hours over a periodof of a month attempting to get it back in working hour and at this point, it is no longer worth it. Would this have occured with a new printer, I have no idea, but when I went to the Epson support site, I saw similar experiences ofthe maintenance having to be quickly replaced on new printers, as well. Unfortunately, it will be chalked up as a loss, maybe I can sell it for parts or at least some of the other accessories that came with it, since I will have no use for those anymore. First and last Epson printer. Very disappointing When I purchased this sublimation printer, there was a manufacturer defect and I could not complete setup. After communicating with customer service, I returned for a replacement. I purchase the printer new, but the replacement I received was refurbished, while I don't think it affects functionality, I was very unhappy to receive a product that was not new. I purchased this printer 2 months ago. I have printed 75 full sheets of transfers for tote bags, slates, mugs, and magnets. I have printed photos and full color images, and the ink level is still at approximately 80% for all colors. The images come out crisp, and the colors are accurate. The printer was easy to setup. I purchased this as a gift to self. It comes with everything cheap to get you started. The paper does not give good transfer to clothing or cloth. I used samples of poly for trail and error. Get yourself a better paper. It serves its purpose. Just don't recommend the paper. Great machine and awesome company. Easy set up and was printing in like 2 hours. ink and refills are reasonable priced. Before you use test out first and it only print best on 100% poly. Also purchase parchment paper. The ink does transfer onto everything even during heat press, to save your garment. Does not print on cotton. DOES NOT PRINT ON COTTON! ... show more
