I have a bulging disc in my neck so I got this pillow to help me at night in bed and maybe even with my c-spine stretches. I used it for the first time last night for stretches and then laid on it relaxing for about 15 minutes before bed. I woke up this morning feeling fantastic. My neck didn’t feel like I needed to pop it or anything for the first time in months. Can’t wait to use it again tonight! It arrived nicely packaged and vacuum sealed. Once I opened it up, it puffed up to size in about a minute. I have animals in my house, so I love that it has a removable and washable cover. It’s very soft and so comfy to lay on. 10/10 recommend this pillow for keeping your c-spine in the correct position!

I had high hopes for this SUBCULTUREPICK Cervical Neck Roll Foam Pillow in helping me to keep my shoulder from pressing against my ear while I slept, by supporting my neck and filling the space my pillow doesn't. However, I've found that it is just a little too big in circumference and a little too hard to be comfortable enough to enjoy a good night's sleep. I found myself wrestling with it throughout the night and trying to find the best position for it to be useful. I tried both resting the bolster above the pillow and beneath it within the pillowcase, but neither yielded good results. I ended up flipping the pillow around so that the bolster was above my head and not in play at all, so that I could finally get some sleep. That's not to say that this SUBCULTUREPICK Cervical Neck Roll Foam Pillow is entirely useless for me. I find it very helpful while lying on my back on the floor in stretching and relaxing my anterior neck, shoulder & chest muscles. In addition, I have found that it most excels at this effect while lying across my bed and hanging my head over the edge. This bolster is perfect for supporting my neck so that I can relax and allow the stretch to really take place. So for sleep, not so much. But for working on better neck alignment through counter-stretching, I definitely recommend giving this bolster a try.

I wouldn't be able to sleep using this. It isn't super cushiony and is more on the firm or stiff side, yet this makes it comfortable for the neck area as it doesn't sink in with time. I can't use it for many minutes at a time because I feel pressure at the back of my head towards the bottom. However, for what it is intended, I think it works. I deal with back pain often and discomfort, when things get too tense I lay on this for a few minutes keeping my spine straight and I feel relaxed.

I was expecting the usual chemical smell since it arrived vacuum packed. To my surprise, it smelled fine and I just had to do a little fluffing, My second observation was how soft the fabric was, I hardly need to use a pillow case or towel but probably will just to keep it clean. I was hoping it was a bit longer so I could put it under my knees but it's really just made for the neck. Firm but squishy so quite comfy.

Firm, nice quality bolster pillow that can be used for many purposes. The instructions indicate to wash the cover upon receipt and wait 24 hours to use it. I didn’t feel that the cover needed washed because there was no odd smell. I did let it expand for 24 hours though. The cover is soft and has a nice texture to it. I do find this bolster a little too firm for my neck, but it works great for my lumbar region and my shins/ankles when laying in my stomach.

1/16/2023 Like another review stated, this is too firm to be helpful for me. I purchased it through Vine for a discount so I'm unable to return it, otherwise it would go back. I'll try to use it as a knee or ankle roll on my massage table. Not worth the $22.

Very stiff, I am not that into it. It almost made me feel like my sleep position was worse. I personally do not like it but I am not a fan of stiff. It could work if you like that.. It does have good support I will say that but I wish it was a little more forgiving.
