Just as the title says, it isn’t great, but it works. Got it because I didn’t want to spend $70 on a kobo stylus and this was a good alternative. It writes fast, good size and battery life, but the thing is that it breaks easily. The whole pen in itself was good, a metal of some sort, but the piece that holds the nib at the end is broken. This led to “strings” of writing when I lifted off the tablet, and it isn’t ideal to have to fix it every so often. I requested a replacement because it may have just been this specific one, but I’m not getting my hopes too high. I attached two photos, the second photo is how it’s supposed to look like but the first is how it keeps breaking. I’m assuming it came like this. Edit: I’m changing my review to be 1 star. I got a replacement and it broke less than a week later. The button on the side stopped working so I wasn’t able to erase easily. Super frustrating, won’t be buying again.

My pen did not come with extra tips. All I got was the pen, the charging cable and poorly translated instruction sheet. I am using this with my surface pro 7. I mainly got this to be able to take notes on my sheet music software. There is a little bit of lag when I write, but I don't know if that's the pen or the software. The magnet seems to hold the pen on the side pretty good. I have been carrying my surface in my bag and the pen has yet to fall off. I don't know if I'd trust the magnet to keep the pen on the tablet if it weren't in thae bag, but this magnet is pretty good. As far as I can tell, there is no way to turn off the pen when you are done using it other to let it time out.
