My girlfriend’s last stylus pen stopped working so we thought we would try a different one this time and settled on this one. It has a nice rose gold color which goes with the pink case on her 10th generation iPad. This pen works perfectly with this iPad. The last pen she had utilized a simple on/off button on top of the pen. This one’s method took a little getting used to. Hold down the button on top of the pen for two seconds to turn it on and the LEDs will light up blue to indicate it is on. There are three small blue LEDs that will show how much battery life is left. Tap twice on the same button to turn it off and the LEDs will turn red to indicate it is shutting off. It comes with several replacement tips which is nice. It is charged with a standard USB-C connector. The battery life is so-so, not great but not horrible.

Pencil does work with the iPad Air 5. No need to sync with Bluetooth, just turn it on touching the end for a couple of seconds and it's ready. It does have a little weight to it, not much like the Windows Surface pen but not as light as the Samsung pencil, so something in between. I'm not an artist so I haven't used it extensively, but the screen responds immediately when writing or doodling. It is not pressure sensitive but it does make a thicker line when using at an angle, it's not gradual though, it's either thin or thick. Obviously it depends on the app you are using. Palm rejection works, just set this in the iPad's Settings to draw only with Apple Pencil (or any clone). It comes on a nice little box with some replacement tips and a small charging cable. Speaking of charging, it does NOT charge when attached to the iPad like the original Apple Pencil, you need to connect it using the included or any micro USB type C cable and a charging block. I haven't timed the charging but I'd say it takes less than an hour. Also be aware that the magnets holding it aren't very strong (if you try shaking it like in some videos with other pencils, this one will fall very easily) so you have to use a good case to secure it so you don't loose it. Something funny though is that the magnets don't align with the iPad's magnets so when attached it's off centered, this means that the pencil is too high almost blocking the volume buttons or way to close to the bottom edge (see pics). Lukily it holds perfectly on the case I'm using. Like I mentioned I'm not an artist so I don't use it for long periods of time so I can't say if the tip scratches the iPad's surface, besides I'm using a screen protector and I suggest you do the same. I highly recommend this pencil to anyone on a budget that doesn't have the need for the high end features the original Apple Pencil 2 provides, if all you need is to take notes and maybe doodling now and then, or even just coloring, get this.

Well I thought everything was fine. Pen arrived and although needed a little charging out of the box, it worked beautifully. For about 6 hours…and until it died on me. The lights on the side indicate that it’s fully charged but now it won’t come back on. I’ve wiped the sensor pad, I’ve tried to use it while on the charger, nothing has worked so far. Super saddening because i was able to create two pieces with absolutely no issues. I’ll give it an overnight charge and hopefully will be able to continue using it in the morning. If so most likely I’ll edit my review, but as for now this is a no-go for recommendations. If it doesn’t work in the morning then I now how to go through the process or returning and finding another compatible pen. Do NOT believe the other 5star reviews, don’t waste your time or money on this product- you get exactly what you pay for. Edit: They ended up sending me a replacement. I finally use the replacement and it’s still broken. This time instead of the pen not turning on, the entire tip came out of the pen!! AS I WAS DRAWING!!! It legit just slid out in the top. I tried to screw it back in but it’s the actual inner piece that’s messed up, NOT the tip or the tip replacements. Meaning i can no longer use it because whatever is holding the tip to the inside of the pen is actually broken. Like HOWWWWWW??????? DO NOT BUY THIS PEN!!!!!! Save yourself some energy and definitely money. There are MUCH better pens on the market.

This works great with my iPad 10. Charge lasts a long time too. I have a case that has a built in slot for it so it's easy to keep up with. Comes with extra tips but haven't needed to replace it. Hold down to power on and tap twice to shut it off. Good deal

Should have sent this back, but it's so pretty that I am keeping it anyway. I guess to save battery, the power lights go off and it stops working, but when tapped the lights come back on and it works. In the same vein, it doesn't stay powered very long anyway. I have three (one was going to be a present, but not now) and exchange them for powering. Positives - Gorgeous color. Great hand weight and finish. Tip glides smoothly on the screen. Works with my iPad and mini iPad, but not with my phone. Using it is smoother and nicer than my Apple Pencil, but the power problems outweigh that.
