i love apple products, but sometimes they really frustrate me. had an original iPad pro, that came preloaded with apple pencil software. i purchased one, but could never get it to work. took it to my parents house and it worked fine with my dads 1st gen iPad pro, so it must have been my iPad. now, 7 years later, i finally decide to upgrade to the new iPad M3, and thought “now i bet that apple pencil will work!”. tried pairing it, an the iPad said “this device is not compatible with this iPad” started deep digging, and found out, the original apple pencil did not work with the first year iPad pro, and stopped working with iPads after the M2 model, so my 1st one was too old, and my current one was too new! just my luck! (i’ve been a firm victim of murphy all my life- probably because i was born on Friday the 13th). im not about to spend another $70 on a apple pencil when i have a perfectly good one sitting here collecting dust, so i see this clone here on Amazon for $12, now that’s a risk i’m willing to take. after it arrived, i turned it on, and it was already charged, opened a drawing program i’ve never been able to use, and it works perfectly! tilt changes the width of the line, pressure makes it darker, and palm rejection works perfectly and has almost no lag as well, it even magnetizes to the side of the new iPad just like the apple pencil, what’s even better, it has an on/ off switch, and lights to tell you when it’s on, or needs a charge, i’m sold!

First off, let’s talk about the 13 minute fast charge. I’ve had naps longer than that. Plug it in, blink, and boom you're back to creating, note taking, or pretending you’re productive during work meetings. Battery anxiety? Canceled. I bought this capacitive pen to use with my 9th generation iPad and I can't be more satisfied. The fast charging of only 13 minutes is a wonder; in what I make a coffee, it is already ready to use for hours. The sensitivity to inclination is surprisingly precise, ideal for taking notes or sketching with natural shading. What impressed me the most is the palm rejection: I can rest my hand on the screen without affecting the stroke, as if I were writing on paper. It works perfectly with apps like Notability, GoodNotes and Procreate. I have also tested it on a 5ª generation iPad Air and a 12.9" Pro, no problems! It pairs instantly and responds to the touch with total fluidity. An excellent alternative to the Apple Pencil for a fraction of the price.

My daughter needed a new Apple pen for her iPad because she lost her other one. I found this one that is compatible with her iPad and for a great price as well. Right out of the box it connects so easily. You just push the button and go to the settings to connect. There is no difference between this one and the expensive Apple pen we purchased when it comes to writing or drawing on the screen. She did say after about a day or two, depending on how much she’s used the pen that it needs to be recharged. But it doesn’t take long at all to get a full charge.
