I honestly was not expecting much from this, considering it's under $25 and the original is $99. I was also skeptical that it was compatible with so many different products. I was surprisingly very impressed with it! I have never owned an Apple pencil, but I have used them before. It was responsive and writing was smooth. Even with a tempered screen protector on my iPad, it worked great! It is magnetic, so it can attach to your iPad for easy storage and transportation. Comes with extra tips. You turn it on and off just like you would click the top of a pen. It shows your battery percentage, so no guessing. It has a rubber dust cover that covers the charge port, if you store your pen with the magnet to the side of the iPad, it's best to completely remove it, or it will not stick flush to the side. If I recall correctly, with the Apple pencil, it detects pressure. So harder pressure creates thicker lines... this one either does not, or it only works on certain apps. I don't think this would be good for artists, as I think that pressure feature is important when drawing. I, however, can barely draw a stick figure, I just use the pencil for writing and taking notes, so this was perfect for me. It felt just like an original Apple pencil when holding it. It did not feel flimsy and it had a good weight to it. I'm so happy I found this and saved myself quite a bit of money!

The pen works with our older ipad that is compatible with apple pen. This does NOT work as traditional stylus for older devices NOT compatible with apple pen. That said, this device features some nice upgrades over the overpriced apple product. The pen has a LCD readoput that tells you at all times how much charge is left in the pen - I prefer this over having to dig through Settings menu to find out pan charge. I also really like that the pen takes regular USBc cable to charge - unlike apple pen that requires female lighting connector. The pen seem to be pressure and angle sensitive just as the apple equivalent. I hope the battery will give us few years of service as it is not user replaceable or serviceable making this essentially a device with a built-in obsolescence. Overall it is a good alternative to the overpriced Apple equivalent.

I've been using a genuine Apple pencil on one iPad and a non-Apple version on another iPad. The substitute I've been using for the last year or two worked fine, when it worked. But it drove me crazy because it turned itself off after every few minutes and I was constantly having to tap the end to revive it. I was also never sure if it was sufficiently charged or not, This pencil solves both problems. Once turned on, it stays on for at least 10 minutes, and the LCD screen shows its charge level. I find that it also does everything as well as the Apple pencil, except self-charge. And it's a great deal at less than $20.

I have never used the official Apple pencil, but I still think I can say definitively that it is not 6 times better than this one. This works exactly as I'd expect it to. I turned it on, and it just worked - no set up issues at all. I messed around with all of the functions and settings in the Pencil menu on the iPad and everything works exactly as it should. It came fully charged, and after several hours of testing, it is still above 90%. I did test out the charging, and it is a nice USB-C port which does not add anything to the thickness or size of the pencil.

I had a blue tooth pencil for a year that just stopped working, then I seen this got it hoping for tie best. I was not disappointed. It charges fast with the right power brick, very smooth feel when drawing our editing images, I love I can see the power level on the pencil and not have to wonder oye check by closing stuff. I woulda definitely recommend this pencil.
