Dear reader, Do you want a quality watch that keeps time extremely well, looks genuinely expensive, feels expensive, gets you countless compliments, feels great to wear, and is something you'd wear for the rest of your life? BUY THIS WATCH. The Stührling Meridian GMT Diver is probably the biggest bang for your buck watch on Amazon. This watch, which I bought for $59.99, is absolutely spectacular. I've been wearing it for almost a year now, and in that time, I have received literally countless compliments from both men and women about how nice my watch is. It is a beautiful homage to the Rolex Oyster GMT Master II, and it is truly an accurate homage, down to the crown, lettering, bracelet quality, and weight. It feels expensive when you wear it, and it has the looks. The colors on the bezel are very vibrant and easy to read. The cyclops (magnified date) is very well magnified and easy to read. The lume is probably the best lume I've seen on a watch under $100, and I have taken this watch swimming and it is literally waterproof. Just make sure to not exceed the maximum depth rating. The movement is borderline perfection. It is a REAL Ronda Swiss quartz movement, and it sourced from Ronda of Switzerland. I am willing to say that this watch keeps time better than a real Rolex. After nearly a year, I have not had to set the time at all (except for daylight savings). This watch is not an automatic, so you don't need to wear it constantly or put it on a watch winder, and the battery life is great. It is worth noting that the bezel is not unidirectional, or one-way, and doesn't click. This is actually a very cool feature, since real GMT Master IIs have a bidirectional bezel that does not click. I believe the real Rolex have detents in the bezel when rotating, and the Stührling Meridian GMT Diver does not. It can be very difficult to move at first but the more you play with it and move it, it will loosen up (at least for my example). The watch looks very cool with the bezel rotated. And finally, this is just a minor detail that annoys only me, but the GMT hand is orange on the "Batman/Batgirl" (black/blue model), which I don't have as of this writing. The "Pepsi" (the one pictured) has a red GMT hand and looks great. The Batman GMT Diver's GMT hand is orange, and should be blue. Other than that, this watch is literally perfect. 10/10 ... show more

I have the black face with red and blue bezel model (“Pepsi” style). For general aviation flying and flight planning, the GMT feature is quite useful to more rapidly translate between local times and Zulu time without having to stop and think about it for a quick minute. The watch has a very high quality feel and appearance, and is accurate, comfortable, functional, and attractive. I have received about six compliments in the last two months alone and predominantly from people who mistook the watch for a Rolex or other high end extremely expensive piece. Meanwhile, it has become somewhat entertaining to us that my wife quietly wears a gorgeous Rolex Lady-Datejust while my watch gets all the compliments. The same watch with the jubilee style bracelet was on sale on Amazon recently for $63 and I bought another one. Even at $90, it is one of the best watch values around. ... show more

I've had this watch for just under two years. For the most part it has kept absolutely perfect time; however, I have found that if it gets subjected to significant vibration it's accuracy falls off quickly. Other features such as the band, luminosity, crystal and face are quite good and I have enjoyed wearing it daily. The big issue is that it has started to corrode and the chrome finish is blistering on the back. It has not been exposed to saltwater; however, living in Texas and working outdoors it does get exposure to perspiration. We'll see if they honor the warranty. New information: I sent it in for warranty (it was within several weeks of the end of the two-year warranty) and they replaced it no-questions-asked. It's a brand new watch and they transferred the old band so I didn't even have to make adjustments. I will repeat several of the pro points: it keeps perfect time (over two months it's consistently been within less than five seconds; the band is superior to the one on my Rolex Submariner; I'm just stunned they can sell this watch for $80, it looks and feels like much, much more. On the con side, I was disappointed by the corrosion but at that cost and the warranty coverage I'll just buy a new one every four years! And those reviews that complain about the second time zone hand not working properly, it is designed and operates on a 24-hour scale and therefore only moves at half of the sweep hand.
