Description

The Studebaker SB2145B is reminiscent of the boomboxes of old, this portable CD Player with FM Analog Radio also includes Bluetooth connectivity for streaming music. The front loading CD player is CD-R/RW compatible. This unit comes with an auxiliary input jack and headphone jack. Other great features include built-in stereo speakers, rotary volume control, treble and bass adjustments and a convenient carrying handle. A multi-color LED Equalizer adds an exciting visual to this awesome looking unit. There is also a built-in AC transformer and built-in rechargeable battery.

Sometimes the volume of the movie isn't as loud as others, so that was the main purpose of getting a box and at first couldn't find the station I needed (dial is analog) but once I did find it, it was nice and loud, no distortions and it was awesome. Made Shang-Chi more enjoyable since we could stay outside and hear everything. Also, there's cool lighting feature on it, but you can turn it off, which also was good for our drive in experience. Music wise, it's dope. Great sound quality and connects quickly and easily to your phone with tbe Bluetooth. My 1980s teenage self would have worshipped this thing as the divine offspring of Light and Sound. My middle-aged self just parked it on the kitchen shelf and blasted "Walkin' on Sunshine" while I made spaghetti and it made glowy patterns on the cookbooks. There is no moral to this story. Just received this item and I am very Happy with it. Very Straightforward controls, great sound overall. Perfect for my needs. Read the owners manual, it clearly states not to expose the unit to extreme heat or excessive Sunlight. It has been difficult to find a unit with actual tone controls and not a menu of 400 presets that suck. I should have bought one of these a while back. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I live in a small three bedroom apartment and you only need to turn up the dial to about 20% for the system to be at a comfortable listening volume that is loud enough to fill the room, and not have a ridiculous amount of audio spill into other rooms that may disturb others. Conversely, if you have some annoying neighbors that carry a small portable speaker around that don't know the meaning of keeping things at a respectful volume, this system is great at giving them a taste of their own medicine. I don't necessarily recommend blasting it so loud, but if vengeance is what you seek, this may help you find it. Because no matter if they decide to take the party to a different room, you can easily unplug and carry on to the next destination until they get the picture and turn their $#&@ down. It's at least loud enough to make your floors start shaking. Bluetooth works great, CD player causes no issues, radio is decent, and I'm also able to plug my PC up to it via AUX cable. Longest battery life I had was about 5 hours and that was with the light show capabilities turned on. I rarely turn them off, although the sound waves are just for show, and doesn't actually sync to the music, which is somewhat disappointing. Either way this is great for the price, but be warned that extended use at loud volumes could potentially damage the speakers, so blast it sparingly. ... show more

I recently purchased this for a birthday gift, and my wife loves it. She complains that she can't figure out all the controls to the surround sound system and asked for an 80's style boom box, but with a CD player. This one had mostly good reviews, so I bought it for her. She loves it! It is easy to use, light weight, and sounds great. I recently purchased another boom box for my son's birthday, but I am seriously disappointed that it came with a broken antenna and is not returnable. I wanted to get this for my husband to use outside for his cookouts. Big mistake! The quality is horrible. My husband refuses to use it. It will not pick up channels, it will not play a CD without skipping (he tried a new cd with no scratches), sound is weird and fades in and out on tones, it's just a very bad quality item. I'm so disappointed with this product. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!! This product don't deserve 1 star, maybe 1/4 star for easy to use. ... show more
