I’ve always hated camping chairs because of my back but this has changed that! It’s a little heavier than a regular one but the straps make it like a backpack so it’s easy to move! A little cumbersome putting it back in the bag but you get better with practice.

I bought this chair to be able to sit more comfortably beside my dog who has degenerative nerve disease and can no longer get on the couch beside me. My middle-aged+ bones could not stay on the floor long enough to sit beside him comfortably for any length of time, and this is a good solution WITH the addition of my separately purchased lumbar pillow. (He has a 4” memory foam layer under his padded bed, but because he is large, I could not share that. 🙂) I read many reviews, and chose to pay the significant extra cost for the lumbar support, which is just about worthless. The fabric pooches out a bit, but there is NOTHING of substance there. Definitely NO RESISTANCE to support a hunan back. The chair is well made, and sturdy, but if you are buying it because of the lumbar support claim, you will be disappointed. I could have purchased a less expensive chair than $70, if I had known I would need to add my own lumbar support. As a previous review stated, the storage/carrying bag is very cheap - the opening was ripped when I got it, and it ripped more when I was removing the chair. That is not a big deal for my purposes, but it’s odd. There is a lock to make sure the chair does not collapse while being used, and the well-designed feet make it very stable. I am not returning it, but if I did not need a solution now and did not mind the hassle of returning and finding another, I probably would. Bottom line: It is a very well made and sturdy chair - but probably not a “worth $70” chair. And it is somewhere between false advertising and an exaggeration to call it lumbar support. (The pictures showing how it is supposed to be different from regular chairs - THOSE give me pause about the way it is marketed. There is very little difference in this chair and a regular beach chair. (Unless perhaps my chair arrived missing the actual support!)

Lower to the ground than a typical beach chair. I like it for myself, but bought it for my husband because he loves his strongback camping chair, he’s 6’4” so it’s difficult to get in and out of it. We sit in beach chairs every weekend & he never chooses this one for himself.

I have now used this chair 4 times and it looks like it will be the last time. Today my daughter was using the chair and the rivers that support the lower leg are broke. Really disappointed that the we were only able to get 4 uses out of this chair. Update: After looking up the chair information and seeing it did have a warranty I contacted the Company, I am pleased with the resolution.

Very comfortable and appears to live up to its claim of "Heavy Duty". I am a large male and tend to destroy portable chairs. I have used this chair for a few months now, including three weeks at the beach, and it is still like new. I read at the beach for long periods, and I completely agree with their claim of 'providing correct body posture'. It seems to be a great value, I will see in a few years

This is the most comfortable camp chair ever! Super supportive on lumbar spine. It’s very large. For reference, I’m a smaller person-5’2” and 115 lbs. My 5’10, 180 lb partner also finds it very comfy. He ordered his own!

Best beach chair I ever tried hands down. Super comfortable, I can finally spend a couple of hours reading at the beach without having my back hurting. I only wish it had a headrest, so I could also nap... That said, it has only one position, so if you want to be able to recline this is not for you. It is also a bit on the bulky side and definitely not light. No problem for me, I just wanted something I could easily haul from the car to the beach in the cart with all the other crap my kid want to bring to the beach, but I would look for something else if I had to carry it by foot for a long stroll or if space was an issue. It seems quite sturdy. I've used it just a few times, so I can't tell for sure yet. Will update the review at the end of the season. For me it's defint worth the premium and would buy again with no dubts.

Love the product. Was able to sit in the woods for hours with no lower back pain. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it came with no carrying strap. I used an old shotgun sling to perfection……5 stars now!
