  • Good keyboard
Nice

  • Not semi weighted keys.
Forget that its cheap. cheap plastic, cheap sounds. It states right in the web description that it has semi-weighted keys. It does not. They are just like any other toy organ or spring loaded low end synth, Stick with Yamaha or Roland or Casio, especially f you're just starting. You'll never know how good (or bad) you are at playing, if yourbinstrument doesn't give you a true reflection of your efforts. You won't find out buying toys. ... show more

  • Overall decent
Good quality for its price, but I wish the keys were a little heavier

  • Great keyboard, nice keys, works well
It doesn't hold up to my $1400 Roland, but nobody's expecting it to. This is a great keyboard for someone who doesn't have a lot of cash for something fancy but just wants to play music.

  • Keys make a horrible rattle sound.
This has all the features I was looking for but the keys rattle horribly. So when you press a key you hear two sounds the music note as well as a rattle...as if the key is the lid of a box that doesn't sit right... Sorry to have to return this item...

  • Meets my needs as a beginner
As a beginner trying to learn only piano basics, I'm pleased with this keyboard. I don't need a professional piece of gear, just a solid, comfortable keyboard that works reliably, sounds good, and doesn't take much space. Bonus points if it looks good. If I ignore all the extra features that I rarely use, this one fits the bill nicely, and doesn't break the bank doing so. The build quality is acceptable, other than the lightweight plastic music stand. The weighted keys feel good to me, like real piano keys, though I'm no expert. The display is minimal and not distracting, with only one red digital display window located off-center. The basic piano sounds are pleasing to my ear through the speakers, and even better through headphones. Some of the specialized tones and rhythms are tinny and artificial sounding. I'm not bothered by that because I don't have much use for them anyway, except occasionally using the metronome or rhythms when playing ukulele. If you think you might want to make frequent use of these sound settings, be forewarned: There are hundreds of tones and rhythms available, and the only way I can find to change them is to hit the button and scroll through until I arrive at the one I want. That can take awhile, and then, if I turn the unit off, the setting clears, so I have to start over next time. Fortunately, the basic piano tones I use are found in the first handful of settings. Included in the package are basic but functional lightweight headphones. The keyboard fits a standard full-sized stand, and has straps with screws for those who want to strap it to the stand. The included sustain pedal Is sturdier than I expected, with a metal pedal and a good spring. So, overall, I'd say it's a solid choice for a beginner who wants a full-sized keyboard on a budget. ... show more

  • I received a broken piano
About 10 notes to the right of it do not play

  • Works for a Novice
We ordered this keyboard for my 12-year-old daughter, who has shown an interest in learning by watching YouTube videos. Since I have not a single musical bone in my body, I can’t speak to how this might compare to an expert player. However, my daughter loves it. The keyboard worked directly out of the box without issue. It came with an attachable music rest and sustain pedal. It also surprised us and came with headphones, albeit a pretty cheap pair. The keyboard does have a lot of nice features with several tracks, a metronome and an option for recording. The quality of the sound is not the best - it’s a bit tinny - but passable. For an introductory instrument, it’s okay, but I’d expected better-quality audio for the price. ... show more
