Description

The Yamaha Arius YDP-144 digital piano provides authentic acoustic piano touch and tone suitable for any aspiring pianist. The Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard action helps build proper finger technique and strength for an easy transition to playing on acoustic pianos. New piano samples deliver expressive, high resolution recordings of the Yamaha CFX 9-foot concert grand piano. Damper Resonance digitally recreates acoustic piano depth of tone when pedaling, while newly improved reverbs set the stage for you to replicate the feeling of playing in a variety of different environments. The Arius YDP-144 is available in either rosewood or black walnut finishes, and the furniture- style cabinet exceeds all expectations of the typical digital piano, lending a classic piano look to any home.

  • Beautiful piece
A beautiful rosewood piano , full size but doesn’t take up lot of space . I originally planned to get an used one but it was only a few hundred less and needed to pick up and disassemble to handle it, not worth the work. It is heavy, knocked-down in one box and delivered in my porch, it took me 1.5 hour to assemble by myself, not a big deal. It is such as beautiful piano with good sound and reasonable price . ... show more

  • The best value
Got this for my lady and she practices more because it's really nice. It may be an average hobbyist / low-level enthusiast keyboard, but the quality is great. Key weight is delightful and fit / finish is terrific. Built it on instinct in about a half hour.

  • Yamaha YDP 145
We had a nice surprise receiving this YDP 145 instead of the 144, which meet all our expectations ! Providing Good sound and easy play, this digital piano brought to all the family joy and fun including the kids

  • Great professional upright piano.
Great for experienced piano players. May be harder for kids to play because of the weight of the keys. The rosewood model is truly beautiful and matches all my furniture. Great addition to my home.

  • sound quality was good
The assembly was very simple, my daughter was very satisfied with it, the appearance was very good, no bump was found, the sound quality was OK, quite suitable for beginning. It was the first time to buy such a big thing online, and I was not disappointed!

  • It's not the piano. It's the pianist!
I had a spinet piano for 20+ years before we moved South. I thought I could sit down and play songs I did well in 2000. Nope! The fault is not with the piano; it is with the person playing it. I will keep working on it.

  • See below
Sound through headphones great. Without headphones, upper register somewhat tinny.

  • Not a keyboard, an excellent electric piano
Beautiful in appearance with high quality sound and keys that feel and play like real piano keys. Nothing like a synth keyboard.
