used twice now and is sturdy. Seems to have been marketed as universal kit but I had to make my own adaper to attach the detector to the bottom of the unit. Different screw, washers and rubber washer did the trick. Comes off and on easy when getting ready to fish or taking out of water. It's overpriced for what it is but overall it works great so I am happy with it. It's priced more fairly than others i have seen on here so there's that as well. I zip tied mine onto a handle so I didn't have to drill and it works fantastic. I don't have to take it off since it swings up and over so transport is easy. If you are looking at getting one of these just buy this one it works fantastic and comes with mounting hardware if you do plan to drill. ... show more

Doesn’t fit my fish finder but made it work finally. Pretty flimsy construction especially the transducer arm. Will have to be careful and not break it. Not sure I would purchase again.
