BEST FLASHLIGHT ON THE MARKET! I am a diesel tech who uses this daily at work. I ran it over with a Ford F350 Super Duty...picked it up and reluctantly clicked the button....to my surprise it still worked. Needless to say the next day I ran it over with a Ford E250 work van loaded down with construction equipment...once again it turned right on with only slight cosmetic damage. I use it for fishing at night because it is water resistant (not proof, resistant). Lights up everything, almost too bright at night. I feel like i annoy the other fisherman but thats ok cause i shine it in the water and every thing is attracted to it. yes its expensive but its the last falshlight you will ever need to own. Buy a car charger too your gonna love it ... show more

The construction of the light is top notch. The size is perfect. I can't say enough. This was an Upgrade from an old Halogen Stinger. Received item on time and excellent condition. The brightness of this unit is astonishing compared with the Older Halogen or ANY other LED Flashlight on the market. With that said, this unit is a little bigger and heavier than other models.( it's Longer because of Dual Switch at rear) Being brighter, it does also expend a lot of energy and does get warm, as well as discharge the NiMH battery fairly quickly. By holding the switch down, one can dim the intensity of the light and this will definitely last a lot longer. You will need to dim to read anything (otherwise it's too bright) or for lighting up work in close quarters. All in all, amazing light that is durable and still compatible with the older chargers. The brightness will WOW others but really isn't useful for anything other than spotting Perps 30 yards away. Good thing it's dimmable. ... show more

I have tried 3 different flashlights and gave them away because the light wasn't as bright as claimed or too difficult to find on off switch in the dark. Streamlight was my light of choice when I was in law enforcement. This is smaller than the bazooka sized/heavy light I used to carry but still the same bright light with easy to find on/off switch.
