Description

Introducing the timeless, easy-to-match Storkcraft Brookside 2 Drawer Chest with Removable Changing Table Topper — a convenient baby and kids chest of drawers that’s versatile enough to match with any style of nursery or bedroom. To make the Brookside even better, its changing table topper is removable: when your child has outgrown the changing table, the Brookside’s changing table topper can be removed — making it a useful kids bedroom chest of drawers. To make the Brookside even more special, it includes Storkcraft’s innovative, safety-focused interlocking drawer system, so only one drawer can open at a time. This interlocking drawer system is designed to mitigate furniture tip-over risk when used in tandem with the included furniture anti- tip kit. The Brookside is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, is crafted from wood composites, and its laminate finish has been tested to meet or exceed the applicable ASTM and CPSIA safety standards. The Brookside is expert tested by third-party, accredited laboratories to meet or exceed all of the applicable category voluntary and mandatory safety standards. Designed to adapt to your growing baby, the Brookside offers two spacious drawers and two open storage cubbies, making it useful from the nursery all the way to kids bedroom. Storkcraft has been recognized with industry awards from the likes of Fast Company, Parents, Baby Innovation Awards, and more, and is the proud recipient of the Parent Tested Parent Approved (PTPA) Seal of Approval for nursery and children’s bedroom furniture. The Portofino is backed by Storkcraft’s supportive, real-life Customer Care team and 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. Assembly required (two people recommended for assembly). Changing pad not included. Changing table topper fits any brand of standard-size changing pad (we recommend any Graco changing pad).

    • Good product
Color: Espresso Style: 6 Drawer Dresser
The dresser looks better than I expected. The box was huge and secured. It was heavy so you need a helping hand or you can take each pieces one by one if you don't have anyone to help you. The manual was very easy to understand just have to follow each steps. Overall it's worth it.

    • Excellent machining, high quality, and sturdy
Color: Pebble Gray Style: 2 Drawer Chest
TL/DR: Great item, good construction, sturdy, 10/10 recommend. We bought this to use as a changing table since we are expecting. I've put together a number of pressboard furniture pieces in the last five years, and I have to admit that this one is actually the best of them. All of the pieces fit together properly, the screws go into the pre-milled holes without too much effort but are also not loose, and overall the materials seems to be of better-than-average quality. The end product is very sturdy and doesn't wobble, which is clutch when you think about having a baby covered in poop on top of it - that's not really when you want things shaking around and potentially splatter painting the room. Overall, it's great and I would highly recommend it. The only caveat here is that the instructions are not quite as detailed as you might want. I had to unscrew a couple of pieces and flip them around so I had access to the cam locks. Fortunately, the build is good enough that this was easy to do. So if you have any experience assembling furniture, you should be able to tackle 90%+ of the instructions with no problem. And the remaining 10% are kind of a 50-50 toss up that is easy to fix. If this is your first furniture assembling foray, then I still recommend this but then you should either A). build it when you have enough time to really, REALLY study the instruction pictures for each minute detail or (more likely) B). con a friend with experience into helping you. Preferably the second, and bribe them with a good beer selection. If you're close, I'll even do it if you provide the beer, that's how easy this thing was to assemble. If I could guarantee that every pressboard furniture piece that I purchased going forward had this quality, I would be very happy. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. ... show more

    • Beginner friendly
Color: Black Style: 6 Drawer Dresser
Review Image by Kate Kate
This is the first piece I’ve ever built, took awhile with the help of another person took us about 4-5 hours. Pieces are as many as needed no extras so be extra cautious to not lose anything. Had minor scratches. It’s looks nice not very sturdy as in you can move it around a lot it’ll probably break so I’d say it’s more of a one and done especially on carpet make sure you have it where you want it for sure cause it is heavy. Only one drawer gets a bit stuck but I think it’s cause of how I screwed it in so be sure to not screw in at a angle I think it messes with the tracks. Overall very happy with my purchase. I saw someone say it doesn’t fit a lot which I think it’s fits perfect for your essentials that do not need to be hung. Great price for what your getting. ... show more

    • Excellent quality
Color: White Style: 2 Drawer Chest
I have had this changing table for 8 months now, and so far this has been how it has performed: - Price: at the time that I bought this, I felt that the price was fair. It wasn't the least expensive model that I found, but it also wasn't the most expensive. - Assembly: While the assembly took some time, it wasn't overly complicated. The instructions were pretty clear, and I only needed to glance at them, given how relatively easy it felt for the assembly. The only reason it took longer was simply because I didn't use any power tools for this one. - Quality: I rather like how the quality of this changing table punches higher than its price. The pieces fit nicely, the wood feels solid, there are no gaps or creaks anywhere, there is ample storage space, and the changing pad and area is big and not uncomfortable to use. - Usability: as of right now, I have not ended up using the changing table itself that much, not because it's bad in any way, but because it's more convenient to change my baby at the bed. However, this has become a regularly used storage device, which still occasionally serves as an actual changing table. Overall, I definitely recommend this. It's fairly priced, easy to assemble, seems like it will last years, and looks like it will be used long past the time my baby will no longer need to be changed. ... show more

    • DONT BUY!
Color: White Style: 6 Drawer Dresser
If I could give this no stars, I would. This dresser is a literal death trap, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it kills someones kids and gets recalled. First and foremost, not all the pieces were included to assemble this dresser. Next there are partial screw like things that when you turn them, they can become undone making the dresser completely unstable. I assembled it together and had trouble with the screw things staying in and the top part of the dresser was the first to come undone. We thought we'd still be able to work through it if we put it in one spot and didnt move it, but the next thing we know, the drawers literally came apart and had trouble coming in and out the tracts. Its upsetting to spend sooo much money on a dresser that is supposed to be specifically for children, and then to have to disassemble, try and fit back into the box and then lug the box to the ups store bc it costs money for pickup or pickup isn't even available, is absolutely insane. So to say the least I'm stuck with an over $200 deathtrap of a dresser that I have no use for, while I look for something else for my son. I wish I listened to the other reviews that warned of their troubles with the dresser, but unfortunately I'm someone who likes to try it out for myself, and this is what I'm dealt with. Hopefully they update their policies on sending back highly defective heavy items like this, bc being one parent who has back problems, it's just way too hard to take back to ups to get it shipped back. Now you just got to bite the cost and swallow your pride. ... show more
