Bought this as a gift for my daughter’s baby nursery. She said That it took her and my son in law an hour tops to build it. It is very sturdy and is exactly what they were looking for to complete their nursery. The drawers are deep and roomy and slide in and out with ease. They love the safety feature of only being able to have one drawer open at a time. They did say the drawers are somewhat noisy when opening and closing but don’t find it to be a problem. They swapped out the white knobs that came with the dresser for wood knobs to match their crib. We are all very happy with this purchase! ... show more

I just re-purchased this dresser for my second daughter after purchasing years ago for my other daughter! Very sturdy for the price. A little tedious to assemble, but not difficult. Looks really nice with wooden knobs purchased separately! New safety feature that prevents more than one drawer from being opened at once…not sure if I like that yet, but I think you can “disable” it. Nice so the toddlers don’t empty out all of the drawers :) ... show more

    • Roughly what I expected at the price.

Assembled well, but not simple. The directions were clear, as were the sticker labels, and all the parts arrived well packed. The final dresser seems pretty sturdy for particle board. It's well-designed to be as strong as it is, given that it's particle board. I did have a few criticisms on the design and quality. The design does require a few supplied screws. A couple of the parts on mine didn't have the pilot holes drilled, which just adds the step of drilling or really working at screwing it in with a manual screwdriver. The screws have a countersink head, which goes into a cylindrical hole, meaning that if you overtighten, it will wedge the weak particle board apart. The laminate/coating was as thin as it possibly could be, I don't expect longterm durability will be that great. Tightening the cam fasteners should be done by feel. The instructions seem to indicate about 190 degrees of rotation, and that isn't always possible. On one I tightened it as far as the instructions indicated, and it started to tilt in its hole, slightly breaking the edge. Seems very cost engineered, which is to say, it is affordable, but the design shows that they were trying to keep costs low. ... show more

This is a very sturdy and heavy dresser. It looks and feels like good quality and is perfect for our nursery. The only "annoying" thing is you can only open one drawer at a time. At first, I thought we assembled it wrong but no, only one drawer can be opened at a time.     • More stable than Malm, but less capacity
My main point of comparison for this dresser is the Malm 3-drawer dresser and a lot of my impressions are based off that. The first thing is that the material quality wasn't that much better. Most of the pieces are particle board with the exception of the wood that makes up the legs. For some reason I was expecting a higher quality product but for the price, it's alright and makes sense. Assembly was a little more complicated. Again, point of references is a 3-drawer which was a single bank versus the double bank here. But having said that, putting this together felt incredibly cumbersome and overly involved. The process and the directions were relatively straight forward, but at some points it felt open ended. For example, there are no indicators where to attach the rails on the drawers. Half the time, I was worried that they wouldn't roll in correctly because they weren't symmetrical. I guess I would've preferred a more guided, less finicky experience. Last, and maybe my biggest complaint is that it feels like less capacity than the 3-drawer. I haven't done the actual math and I doubt this is true but it definitely feels like there's less capacity here than with a Malm. The drawers are shallower and narrower which translates to less volume. The trade off is that this is more compact so fits in smaller spaces, but it feels like there's a lot of wasted space here when compared to the Malm. I don't really regret this purchase, but I was certainly disappointed by it. I wish it was a bit more economical with the space within but otherwise fits for what I need. To put it another way, it's fine but if I ever have a need to upgrade or replace, I probably wouldn't get another one. ... show more

We got this dresser for my toddlers new “big boy” room and it has been amazing so far. My husband was able to assemble it himself in about an hour or so. It is very heavy so that is important to know just for getting it inside. But it is also great quality so the weight makes more sense. It is very well made and sturdy. One feature I didn’t realize it has is that if one drawer is open, the rest of them lock. I’m not sure if I love or hate that feature so far, it hasn’t bothered me yet. And I’m sure there is a way to disable it if I really wanted to but right now it’s no big deal. The drawers slide really smoothly and hold a good amount inside them so it’s super functional. Well worth the cost of purchasing, I would buy this dresser again. ... show more
