Even though these mugs were specifically designed for Espresso, that isn’t why I bought them. For several years I’ve been buying bottles of Sparkling Ciders for New Years Day and for other occasions, during the year. The bottles say there is about three eight ounce servings per bottle. So I usually used a measuring cup to even it out. But I discovered that I could get closer to five servings by using these little mugs. I received these in time For a Birthday and served Sparkling Cider in them, which worked out perfectly. They are easy to hold and they are very lightweight, which surprised me. I expected them to be a bit heavier. I will admit I haven’t tried any hot drinks in these. Usually I want a twelve to sixteen ounce cup of coffee. A cup this size will probably just send me back for another cup. I love these! I’m considering buying two more sets, but one set will be given as a Christmas Gift. ... show more

We’ve had these for about a year and a half so far, and they’re still our daily go-to espresso cups. They fit underneath a Nespresso Original Line (capsule) machine, and they’re just large enough to hold a Lungo-sized Nespresso pod plus a little milk and sugar. The vacuum walls of these cups truly make a huge difference in keeping your espresso warm for a longer amount of time than ceramic mugs. The fact that these are clear is also a huge aesthetic bonus. Ok, this is probably going to gross you out, but I'm not using these cups for beverages. I'm using them to hold saline for rinsing my nose. They're a nice shape for that. They would be nice for a small serving of beverage. They have a very unusual feel to them. According to the description they are made of a kind of glass, but an atypical kind. I have to say it feels more like plastic, probably because it's so light and airy and doesn't get hot on the outside. I can't comment on whether they're sturdy, because I haven't dropped them. These were a good price and the mugs were very high quality. I returned them and purchased another set with a 15 oz capacity which allows my wife and I to finish the pot of coffee with no leftover in the pitcher. Would definitely recommend if the capacity works for you.

I have the smaller espresso cups and the regular coffee mug. I love them. Be careful. If you drop them enough they will break. But plastic absorbs stains and odors. So, these are 1.000x better. Buy them now!
