I love this dual height feeding bowl. Just turn the top part of the feeding stand around on the base one way or the other for each of the two settings, high or low. The inside of the base can store dog food, although I don't use it like that as you would have to lift the whole top part off every time to access the food. The wide base is very durable and has rubber pads making it slip resistant. It so great on the highest setting for my 2 border collies. Perfect level for feeding and drinking without them having to bend all the way down to floor. Both the stand and the stainless bowls are very easy to clean. On the water bowl side, you can leave the stainless bowl out and screw on a plastic bottle filled with water in the threaded part of the bowl and it will continue to fill the water as the level drops. Durable and rugged. I love it and so do my dogs. I keep continuing to buy them over and over for other people's dogs. Such a great price and a really great product. Highly recommended. ... show more

I researched this for a bit and finally decided to buy. I have a German Shepherd and she is energetic but does not get into things. She is very well behaved with food. I wasn't sure how I would like this from reading the reviews but I love it. The product holds the food and keeps it dry, no issues what so ever. The food goes inside and you have to lift the entire top off to get the food out. My do eats all her food when its feeging time. I take the top off, pour out her food and put the top back, then I fill her water dish. By the time it's her next feeding I do the same and there is not much water in her bowl, so spilling is not a problem. Keeping it clean by wiping it down is fast and simple. The plasic is sturdy and keeps the food inside dry. I read a review that the top rests on the food, this is not the case. When the top is on it rest properly and not on the food that is inside. I'm sure if you overfill it that may happen but not with me. I usually buy 40lb bags of food and I can empty about half the bag at a time. Very convenient and my dog never knocks it over, but my dog isn't trying to knock it over so thats something to consider. You know your dog. I'm sure if she wanted to get in there she would. It wouldn't be hard to do since it is lightweight enough. If eatting or drinking it's not too lightweight that it would move. The Store-N-Feed is a nicely designed product that that stores dry food and provides a nice raised bowl surface. The Store-N-Feed allows for two heights and there by storage settings. This is done by rotating the top section 180 degrees. The lower setting has both pieces, top and bottom slide almost entirely within one another, while the other expands it to nearly double the height. This provide for a much taller surface (8” or 12”) for feeding and a larger area for food storage. The feeding area on top has two recessed areas that that hold two metal bowls. There is a small outcropping on each of the recessed areas that allow for easy access to the edge of each bowl. This makes retrieving them easy in practice. These recessed areas also do a nice job of keeping most water and food from spilling over. One of the recessed areas additionally has a thread cut out. This can be used for a gravity fed water area. This does require that the metal bowl be removed to function correctly. Pros: • Ability to store dry foods for easy access. • Large bowls • Height adjustment works well for med and large size dogs. Cons: • Sliding top and bottom together can get a bit stuck sometimes. Requires a bit of finesse. • Would not recommend for small dogs or cats since 8” high can be a stretch for some of our smallest roommates. Conclusion: Overall, I am pleased with the Store-N-Feed. I rate it at 4-stars because of the occasional alignment issues at time when putting it back together. Otherwise it is a solid product that should last a long time. ... show more

Have a 5 month old Sharpei pup that outgrew his puppy bowls pretty quick. I have another dog I use this same system for and it works great! It’s high so it allows the larger dog to eat and drink comfortably without having to eat head down which causes indigestion and gas for the dog. This setup eliminates that issue by raising the bowls up from 8” up to 15” and it comes with Stainless steel bowls too! I wouldn’t store food in the base because of ants that get into the food and it doesn’t stay air tight like I prefer to keep the dog food to contain smell and retain freshness in an air tight container. ... show more

The overall idea is great! But in practice its a bit more complicated. The design is as such that you have to underfill the storage compartment (for smaller dogs) or the food keeps the top elevated, so it doesn't really hold as much as the product claims (unless you have taller dogs and overfill the compartment, in which case it doesn't really matter.) The top itself can be a hassle to fit back on. If you've overfilled the storage compartment the sides may bulge out just enough that the lid doesn't fit back on properly. You can purposely displace the food to mostly fix this problem, but its a learning curve, none the less. Also, the plastic along the edges of the compartment and the lid are rough cut, meaning there are plastic filings and loose bits you may need to shave off to also help with the "fit" issues. The bowls that come with, to be brutally honest, are kind of crap. They're thin, and flimsy, and just .. well, crap! Easy enough to replace, as silver food bowls are plentiful at your local feed store and/or pet store, but my question is for the price paid should I really have to shave off bits and bobs of plastic shards or replace flimsy food bowls when the item should be ready to go, in good shape, with decent parts before ever even leaving the warehouse ..? I purchased this thru Amazon, but Target carries them too. I wish I would have gone in-store to take a look at them in person before buying (at a better price, mind you) online because they are ALL like the one I received. ... show more
