I ordered a set of these and received one as a Christmas gift this year. The first set arrived in perfect condition, they are packed for shipping really well. I was very surprised when my gifted set arrived and 3 plates were broken. I sent an email that night explaining my situation. I was emailed back within the hour and received amazing customer service. They received the pictures of my broken plates and started the process to ship replacements. Within about 3 days I received a replacement set. I am extremely satisfied and impressed by the level of service. The dishes themselves are beautiful, and look stunning in my kitchen. I like the weight and thickness of the plates. I do wish the bowls were slightly deeper, but that’s a personal preference. So far I’ve had no issues with cleaning them, both in the dishwasher and by hand. They have a nice clear coat and wipe clean very easily. They don’t stack perfectly, but I kind of like the more rustic style of the plates so it doesn’t bother me, my husband disagrees. So that might be up to your preference as well. All that said I think these dishes are a great set and worth the price. I am very happy with my purchase, and extremely pleased with the customer support.

Beautiful dishes! The lip around the plates are perfect for a minimal look but also functional. If you’re looking get them! Dishwasher safe and easy to clean what more can you ask for! Only down side is these did take AWHILE to get to me BUT these don’t lose a star because they are just perfect plates! PS they did not come broken or chipped and they traveled far!

Bought these before Christmas last year. Nearly half a year later and these are holding up well. They've seen tons of use including going through the dishwasher innumerable times. The plates stack well, resist chipping, and have remained as good looking as they day I unboxed them. They also resist scratches from steak knives and other metal utensils. They are heavy - which is a testament to their quality and durability, so that's not a downside. This was a great buy and so much better than the thinner cheaper plates at some brick and mortar houseware shops.

This set is substantial (not cheap or fragile). I like the lip on the plates. I will say that I can see all of the scratch marks caused by utensils. I think it might be because it’s a matte finish. There’s no gloss to protect it from scratches.

I just love this stoneware, it's nice looking, has a nice weight and thickness to it, cleans up and drys easily, I hand-wash my dishes so haven't tried dishwasher yet but have used in microwave it's a bit warm to touch but works nicely, I love the size and shape of the plates and the small lip to keep food from slipping over, overall great price and product, I ended up with the 8 plates 8 salad plates and 8 bowls which I'll add bowls are a perfect size for soup, salad or cereal I only needed 6 of each but if one breaks I have back up. These plates should last a very longtime, they came packed nicely, box was very heavy and well padded I recommend.
