I purchased this to use on a boat, and it was US Coast Guard approved for boating from your description. According to your description, and information you provided "This life jacket is approved by the U.S. Coast Guard, ensuring it meets safety standards. The wrap-around flotation and dual support collars provide added security for infants and toddlers." However after receiving it, it's not approved for any boating, or swimming activities. It's only U.S. Coast Guard approved for "Near Shore", which is absolutely not boating, or swimming. Please change your description to accurately reflect it's only U.S. Coast Guard approved for "Near Shore", not boating or swimming in any body of water. It's alot of money to spend to be only usable on the shoreline only. ... show more

We loved this life jacket! It fit well on a 28 pound, two year old toddler that doesn’t swim. We used it in the bay and in a pool, It was sturdy and well made.
