Rpm’s are not accurate especially at lower speeds shows 5500 rpm’s at idle on chainsaw. Clutch opens at 4500 and chain was not turning and obviously not reving that high.

The tach works pretty good, but the instruction sheet is terrible. Next you can not replace the battery. There is a gentleman who shows how to add a battery if so desired. Would I order it again. No, because of the battery not being able to be replaced.Chea

I've been using this while tuning old Tecumseh and Briggs & Stratton engines (lawn mowers and snowblowers). It is perfect for dialing in 3,000 to 3,600 for the upper end and 1,600 to 2,000 for idle.
