I bought this to use as a crane to set my trusses for my pole barn. The wireless remote was the selling point for me. I rigged a dewalt 20v battery as a power source and I was able to lift all my 24' trusses with ease.

Winch wouldn’t go out with remote or wired switch. Solenoid would just click when attempting to go out. Winch went in only.

Easy as 1,2,3. if replaceing old one, unstall / take off ..then reinstall / put on with old hold that were there 20mins and ur done... Same process if its ur first time jist woth making the hoist holes...remote is a 'life' saver if hauling machinery if it doent run saves ur hurting ur back more ...

Ive been using this wench for a while now. No big issues so far. The wiring isn't the cleanest in the world. Everything is very exposed. Other than that it is a good light weight inexpensive wench. Good for an atv. I mounted it in the bed of my pickup truck to pull my quad in. Works great for that.
