Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m awful at selfies, please ignore how old and tired I look! I’m posting bad pictures on purpose — I applied this eyeliner 13 hours ago and it still looks fresh which is what I wanted to show here. No transferring or flaking all day after being on my feet and sweating for 10 hours at work. It takes a long time to dry at first, maybe a full 10 minutes. I have hooded eyes so I have to keep my eyes down until it fully dries otherwise it transfers to above my lids. But besides that, it’s great. The colors are as vivid as the ads show. It is kind of messy to apply. I like to draw on my cat eye with black eyeliner first to have a guide, then I go over it with this Stila eyeliner. It is kind of hard to remove but if I’m patient my makeup remover wipes work eventually. I give it a 10/10! The color shift is beautiful but I couldn’t capture it on camera. I do recommend this!

I really wanted to like this …followed advice from another review and it’s much more visible if you add black eyeliner as a base, I used pencil. But alone it’s weak. Also, super messy application, if I get this on my lashes it sticks and leaves a mess which is only truly erasable with makeup remover. I’m pretty disappointed and would not purchase again.

Once you get it in place, the color is GORGEOUS. Five stars for that. However, it has some definite downsides. It's patchy and requires several passes to get a consistent, even color line. It takes forever to dry and it's a bit runny, thus easy to make mistakes. But the mistakes are difficult to correct because this stuff grips and smears like MAD if you go after it with a q-tip or a corrector pen. To remove at the end of the day, it required both an oil-based cleansing balm and Micellar water for waterproof eye makeup—and even then it took a lot of rubbing. It doesn't come off smoothly but rather breaks down into tiny flakes/chunks that get everywhere. It for sure didn't budge all day though, haha. I use all of my eyeliner with a primer so that may have contributed to the staying power, but I also swatched it on the back of my hand and that needed scrubbing with micellar and an exfoliator poof to get it off. So that grippy-ness may be a plus or a minus depending on your POV. Any eye makeup that requires that much tugging and scrubbing to remove isn't ideal for that delicate skin around the eyes. I don't wear much makeup any longer but do love mascara and winged eyeliner. This is a fun pop of color for behind my glasses, but the difficulty of using and removing it means it'll probably languish unused in my makeup bag for the most part.

This glides on like a dream! And the multichrome effect is beautiful - pink to gold to green. I love how easy it is to apply. And it lasts for days (on those days where you don't want to wash off your eye makeup). It doesn't budge once driee down, either. Way to go, Stila! Highly recommend!
