I really love the modern abstract pattern on this rug—it tied my room together beautifully and gave the space a stylish, welcoming look. The colors blended well with my décor, and it instantly refreshed the room. The only downside for me was how thin the rug is. While the low-pile design does help reduce trip hazards, it wasn't as plush as I expected. I solved that by adding a thicker rubber-backed rug pad underneath, which made it feel much cozier and more comfortable underfoot while adding extra cushioning. Overall, it's a great value for the price. If you don't mind adding a rug pad for extra comfort, you'll have a beautiful, washable rug that's easy to maintain and looks fantastic.

This is a really nice rug, and since it is a larger, higher-priced item, I was happy to see that the quality matches what I would expect in that range. The colors are bright and vivid without looking harsh, and the pattern has a nice abstract look that can work with a lot of different decor styles. It gives the room some color and interest without feeling too busy. The rug itself is surprisingly soft underfoot. The pile is low enough that it does not feel bulky or hard to manage, but it still has enough softness to feel like an actual rug and not just a thin printed mat. That balance is nice because it makes the rug comfortable while still being practical for regular use. I also like that the low pile should make it easier to vacuum, and it seems like it would work fine with a robot vacuum as well. The backing has a slightly rubberized, non-slip feel to it, which helps keep it from sliding around. It also came with removable adhesive rug grippers for the corners, which I thought was a really nice extra touch. For a rug this size, having that added bit of stability is helpful, especially in a busy household where people and kids are walking across it constantly. I also appreciate that it is washable. With an 8x10 rug, though, I would not expect to just toss this into a regular home washer. I purchased the 5x7 Stiio area rug for my bedroom, and it has completely transformed the space. The black and gray abstract pattern is modern without being overwhelming, and the neutral colors blend beautifully with my furniture and décor. It adds warmth and style while giving the room a more finished look. One of the first things I noticed was how soft the rug feels underfoot. The faux wool surface is comfortable enough to walk on barefoot, and my family naturally gravitates toward sitting on it while watching TV or playing games. This is my first washable rug and I am impressed. I had my doubts about the washable claims, but at 16 lbs is truly is washable. This works well in our play room, because it's easy to clean. Not just in the washing machine, but spills bead on top, so you can easily wipe them up. The low pile makes it durable! The black and white has a striking and modern look. Not too serious! I think this would look good in a dining room, as well as play rooms, and childrens' rooms. There's a rubber backing that keeps it in place. Even though it's a low-pile rug, it has a soft feel. It came folded in a box. It had very few creases, and no wrinkles. I figured I might need to run my hand-steamer over it, but the creases were mostly gone, by the next day. Overall, I find this rug to be high-quality, and a good value at the current price of $69.99. At this price, I would definitely order one again.

I was looking for a reasonably priced area rug for my basement. This rug checked the boxes. The entire modern style is not my preference, but I do like the colors. For a faux wool rug, it is soft and comfortable to walk on. The rubbery backing does prevent slipping. And any rug I purchase has to be machine washable. I did take alittle while to completely lay flat after opening - that’s my only gripe. But I think that’s a result of the shipping method…boxed not rolled. For this size rug, I’d expect to pay more for this quality, so solid value in my book. Overall, super soft, machine washable, great value area rug. I would recommend.

The design is certainly attractive, very contemporary distressed. Looks really nice with my light wood floors and gray walls. It did arrive in a vacuum packed cube and that had me worried. Puffed up a bit upon opening and did have some creases for a little while but they worked themselves out after a few days. It is ultra low pile and very thin. This is a somewhat new style of rug that is more or less machine washable. Once you get over an 8x10 in size, getting it into a residential machine starts becoming a challenge and will probably require taking it to a laundromat with the big machines. You are supposed to buy an underlayment pad to give you the softness and to hold it in place. While you can, it's not really meant to be used without the pad. Ultra soft and velvety feel to the fibers. This micro texture does grab a lot of dirt very quickly so no shoes allowed. I guess the benefit is that you can wash it.
