I was afraid it wouldn't work. I bought a 110v welder in the 80s and it would spark and the rod would stick but no actual welding ability. So I always considered these one 10v welders to be junk. But these newer ones are better with better Electronics. This welder welds just fine. I was surprised. Needless to say if you have a big job or want large welds, you should opt for a 220v welder. But for smaller jobs and projects it works quite well. I don't know how long it'll last. I like the small compact size since I don't have much storage. It can perfectly fit in a drawer.

This little guy is impressive! I’ve tortured it and it just doesn’t seem to care. It’s proven to be really handy around my property and is much easier than dragging out the welding trailer for a 5 minute repair.

The stinger broke the first day of use. But while it was together it worked pretty good. Melted and bonded the metals very well. Easy to use and it's compact. Easy to move around with.

The welder welds good and works fine on a regular 20 amp living room outlet. The rods it comes with are full of moisture which make it extremely difficult or impossible to strike an arc. I was able to strike an okay arc after heating the rods with a propane torch until no more water vapor came off them. Buy a fresh, sealed pack of rods when you weld.

I have had it for a couple of hours and for the size and price it works well with the testing I have done (all stick welding). I will be using it on some small repair projects around my house and to start a few metal work projects. I will update my review once I have used it more.
