This replacement stick module for the PS5 DualSense Edge worked perfectly. Installation was super simple since the Edge controller was designed to swap modules easily, and within minutes my controller felt brand new again. The analog stick feels smooth, responsive, and accurate with no drift issues at all. It fits securely just like the original Sony module and works flawlessly in games. I was worried about getting a cheap knockoff feel, but this one honestly performs exactly how I expected. Definitely worth buying if your controller has stick drift or worn-out sticks. Much cheaper than replacing the entire controller.

Backstory: During my PS4 era (2014-2021), I had to replace my PS4 DualShock every 6 months due to L3 stick drift. All the other buttons continued to work, but L3 would invariably develop drift. I tried using non-Sony controllers, but their stick durability was even worse. During my PS5 era (2021-present), Sony began manufacturing the DualSense Edge. Although it was 3X the price of a PS5 DualShock, the PS5 DualSense had replaceable stick modules. Since this was the #1 failure point of my PS4 DualShocks, I bit the bullet. This decision was a huge W for me. Replacing the DualSense Edge stick module is simple. Lift the protective cover, flip the metal release lever, slide the old module out, and slide the new module in. Close the metal release lever and replace the protective cover. The grip, weight, durability, ergonomics, and appearance of the new stick module are identical to the OEM stick module because the replacement is an identical product. Instead of shelling out $77 US dollars (tax included) for a new PS5 DualShock Controller, I only spent $20 dollars for a stick module. Yes, the L3 continues to develop drift. Fortunately, these new PS5 stick modules are more robust than their PS4 predecessors. I have only needed to replace the L3 module in my DualSense Edge once in the last 2.5 years. I play PS4 games on the PS5 now, and the math speaks for itself. 2.5 years = 30 months. New Dualshock 4 = $66. Dualshock 4 life = 6 months. 30 months/6 months = 5 cycles. 5 cycles X $66 = $330 dollars total. This leaves me with only one working DualShock 4 that will need to be replaced in another six months @$66 dollars. If the pattern continues for another 2.5 years, this will amount to another $330 [if DualShock 4 controller costs remain constant] for a total of $660 over 5 years. DualSense Edge = $210 dollars. Replacement stick module = $20 dollars. $230 for 2.5 years = $100 dollar savings. This leaves me with one superior working DualSense Edge that will require a $20 replacement module sometime within the next 2.5 years. If stick module prices remain constant, this will amount to another $20. This would be a total of $250 spent over 5 years, saving me $410 dollars.

Easy replacement, just snaps in. Good to always have a pair as backup. Only downsides are they are a little expensive and don't have Hall Effect or TMR.
