EDIT: Dude, to everyone saying it only stuck to their WALLS one time or it's not sticking because it's dirty....common sense, quick hand or paper towel wipe to the area you're going to stick it on, and please know that a PAINTED wall will never be a good surface to use something like this. Why? Because even when paint is dry, it's still incredibly porous. High-gloss paint would be a better surface to use this with, and I can guarantee most home walls are not painted high-gloss (like kitchen cabinets are, see my original review below). I work in the building materials industry. Think about it, matte paint scratches more easily than gloss. Do your research, educate yourself, and really think about what ANYTHING with adhesive sticks best to. It's not a miracle, it's just sticky. ALSO, twist your phone to remove it, or else yes, you will absolutely pull paint off your wall, especially matte paint! ‐------ I got one of these from work over a year ago, and it stuck perfectly to my kitchen cabinets while I was cooking every single time I used it. The only reason I got rid of it after over a year was because of how dirty it became. Ordered the ebony 2-pack and just got it. Sticks just as well as my last one, I suspect some aren't applying it properly or cleaning the area/pressing down very firmly for about 30 seconds to get it to stick to your actual phone. The part that sticks to other objects is instantaneous, not like the part that sticks to your phone. I will say from the picture I expected a more shiny geometric design. The coloring is literally just matte. Other than that I love this thing!

I loved how sticky it was, but that it didn't leave a residue behind after I used it. It last for a very long time and help to be hands free. Only thing I wish was that it was a little more stronger like it will fall if you have it on the wall for more an half an hr.
