I've seen Stetson Skylines in person before, knew what they looked like and what I was getting myself into. I decided to avoid the hassle of going into a store and buy it online. What's the worst that can happen? Turned out the worst that could happen is I end up with a hat with a sweatband that's the wrong size and janky application of the buckle. I thought I might be paranoid and I joined a fb Stetson group and asked where I was assure something was definitely wrong. I thought the hat was being bought through Stetson when in reality it was a third party. So when I got this defective hat my only option was to turn it in for a refund. I actually like how that hat looked, the build quality, the color, and I got plenty of compliments. I was told to maybe look into going to the Stetson outlet and see if they could fix it. Full transparency, I live in TX about 45 minutes from the factory. They said they couldn't HOWEVER, when I complained that they're destroying Stetson's name by selling hat at full price online only for them to be defective the lady pointed out they actually had the same hats at the Stetson outlet for $150 less. I bought it, had it steams, cleaned, and shaped to my liking and sent this garbage back. ... show more
