This bin was the perfect length for tent camping, its large enough to store a week's worth of things to wear. The boxes are stackable. The wheels on the box are ok. Do not sit on the box! They are sturdy when stacking but not sturdy for sitting.

I agree with other posts, excellent large storage container but Sterilite needs to make the box more sturdy, a thicker harder plastic material. Purchased to put work tools, supplies for my work truck. Be an added feature if it was moisture resistant allowing boxes to be placed in back of a pickup canopy preventing moisture from entering the boxes. This is a light weight storage container. It appears to have pretty sturdy construction. I wouldn't sit on it unless it's full. The top is not strong enough to hold a full grown male. The built in wheels are a nice idea if you pack a heavy lord in it. There's a carrying handle situated in the middle in the front so one can carry it as a suitcase. With what I loaded in mine, it's a bit too heavy to carry very far that way. There are hand holds on the sides. The bottom and sides are all one pieces so no water will leak in. When the top is closed it seals against the bottom but there is no gasket so it's not going to be waterproof. Rain won't get in unless it's left outside in the rain upside down. There is a hole for a padlock in the center if the front to secure the container. In my opinion it's a great deal because the container is light as well as rugged. Depending how much you put in it, it can be one man portable or possibly two. ... show more

This is exactly what I needed. It's just like the old steamer trunks-- only lightweight. It's the perfect size for storing important papers, smallish valuables & sentimental items that I don't want to walk away or leave exposed to miscreants while I'm away from home for extended travel. I live in an apartment building where I don't exactly trust the management to not enter my apartment and snoop through my belongings in my absence. I mean it's not fort Knox, but it does afford a significant degree of peace of mind. It's made of durable plastic and features 2 recessed wheels at one end and an indentation just under the lid where you can grasp hold of it at the opposite end for easy mobility. Above the handle, in the center, is a set of holes for the insertion of a padlock. I intend to lock up my passport, birth certificate, bank records, tax records, diary & other writings, receipts, my Bulova watch, a diamond bracelet and even a couple of 35 mm cameras that I don't want anyone's hands on. Out of sight, out of mind!! Oh, and if ever there's an emergency requiring quick evacuation-- I like the idea of having all of my legal docs and valuables in one container & ready to grab and go!! (I may even stash a change of clothes inside it for good measure.) ... show more
