I bought these to help organize my tools, rather than just dumping everything into a big toolbox. I put, for example, chisels in one, pliers in another, etc. and then put these boxes in the toolbox(es). They are the perfect size for a lot of hand tools, and fit nicely in normal size toolboxes.

I found the large size to be just right for storing my model train cars. I like that the lid fit's securely and they stack well without sliding off. I made cardboard dividers and most n-scale boxes fit two-across and two-deep. They arrived quickly and without damage.
