Our 5, 8 and 9 year old kids LOVED doing this. They painted a stone for themselves and made the others for Fathers Day. The stones were well packed so no breaks or chips. There was plenty of paint and brushes if you wanted to do this as a group project. A nice set of instructions with tips is included. For best results, you need to bake the painted stone in the oven briefly. However, be aware that these are small stones about 6 inches in diameter. The description states this but I still pictured something a little bigger. Finally, although the product is called a "stepping stone," the instructions caution that these are for decoration and stepping on them may cause them to break! IMHO, a name change is in order -- perhaps garden stone? Great, fun project but not a stepping stone.

I like these because the set comes with 5 of the stones. They are real stones that go in the garden or walkway when completed. Each stone comes with its own pain and two brushes. All of the pieces comes nicely stored in a box with foam in between each piece to ensure there is nothing broken. I like that there are enough colors to make even more if mixed together and are not just the basic colors. The two paint brushes are nice, one small and thin while the other is a little larger. My son had a blast painting the turtle, and when dried will go in the flower garden.

This is a wonderful set of paint your own stepping stones. It comes with 5 nice stones. They were very well packaged, so the stones shouldn’t break. Each stone comes with 2 brushes and a set of paints for each! This also comes with a step by step guide which was helpful. My 3 year old grandson painted the smiley emoji. This is fun even for a 3 year old. (The second photo is after they were baked). This is a good quality set and a great activity for kids.

I got this for my youngest child and instead my 9 year old daughter who loves to paint pine cones was very excited to receive this activity to do. She and my wife opened it to explore and found many options to use in painting and decorating. They have not actually used it yet so don’t know the results but I’m sure it’s more than satisfactory. They will be laid in out in our garden soon once they are dried. All in all a great find.

With twin 3 year old grandchildren and no naps anymore you need to find plenty for them to do . Especially on inclement weather days. This stepping stone art kit is perfect just for that. They love painting and this something a bit different for them to create. Finish with clear coat to protect them from the weather and make the kids feel special with a garden spot just for their art work. A gift for that special family member from your little ones too. Inexpensive fun for your little ones.

The kids absolutely loved these. It's 5 full sets of stone, 2 paintbrushes, and paints. So you could use this set for a small group of kids. There's enough paints and brushes for every stone.

Rocks are everywhere! These have a great style to them, leaving little ones busy painting just how they want. Not only can you be outside will doing this put it can leave them excited to see their art work on display for their families to see in the yard once completed!

I got these for our LOs to have a little art project we can do on the weekends. They love them. It gave them something to do with the added bonus of being able to send them out to relatives as gifts once they are complete. Great project for kids, but adult supervision is required.
