  • Cute and sturdy kitchen, but oven door doesn't remain close keeps falling down.
Assembly gave me a hard time without a driller, so get yourself a driller. The kitchen looks sturdy and cute. My only complaint is the oven door, it's keeps falling down doesn't lock properly sometimes my almost 3 years old boy will stand on top of it which I don't like at all.

  • Great choice
This is a great-looking kitchen, especially for a boy. I searched for months, looking for a play kitchen that wouldn't look too out of place in my son's primarily navy bedroom, and this seemed like it would blend best. The colors are great. My dad assembled it in about an hour with a power drill. He didn't have any complaints. This kitchen's oven seems bigger than most I've seen which I consider a plus, and its fridge is a little larger, too. The burner works well with the provided pots and pans, and the noise isn't very loud at all. I wish the microwave had a keypad with actual buttons, and had a clear window like the fridge and oven, but most play kitchens I found didn't even have microwaves so I guess I can't complain. The hood is also a cute detail that isn't on many kitchens. It's got a good amount of "counter space", and also has a fantastic amount of storage. It comes with two baskets that tuck underneath the large cabinet under the sink. The dishes included are good quality for play dishes, but the bottles and shakers are ridiculously cheap.. They come in two pieces that you snap together, then slap a sticker on. The "phone" is hilariously cheap.. They would've been fine with leaving that out completely. Overall this kitchen, for the most part, fit all of our needs and I am very excited for Santa to give it to my son this Christmas. ... show more

  • Worth the money & time putting together to see how much my grandbabies love it!
Well made and everything lined up perfectly. Wasn't difficult to put together as long as I pre-drilled the holes with the smaller screws before screwing in the larger ones. Directions were mostly pictures, but it still went well. It took me less than 2 hours to put together. I chose the Step2 Modern Metro Kitchen Play Kitchen, because the oven door has the double thickness like the refrigerator door and both have see through windows (the double thickness comes in handy for children who try to sit or climb on the open oven door.) I also chose it, because of the way that it is lined up allows at least 3 children side-by-side to play at once. All day Christmas eve 3 children below age 5 enjoyed playing with it together, and they still love it! I gave it a 4 star because the light-up burner didn't work properly and it took me a couple of days of trying to get through to customer service (Luckily I put it together a week early). When I was finally able to get through, Lisa (?) was very friendly and helpful and the replacement part arrived in 2 days just as she promised! ... show more

  • Great little kitchen
Grand kids are almost 4 and 5. Perfect size! Lots of storage and stove makes boiling water noise or frying noise when appropriate pot is placed on the pretend eye of stove! Easy assembly! And lots of accessories!

  • Great litte kitchen
We set this up and my Granddaughter plays for hours on it.

  • Overall pretty good but some disappointments for the price.
Got it yesterday and our daughter loves it! We also love that it fits into and matches our kitchen so well, less of an eye sore since it will around for quite some time. Putting it together takes some effort but everything is well secured. Disappointed in the fridge space. The oven has the full depth but the fridge is not as deep. I’m guessing there is some space reserved for securing it with play sand be I really wish that was not the case. Also, the microwave doesn’t have any way to keep the door shut so it sits a little open for us, maybe our floor isn’t perfectly level. Only 1 burner makes sound, the knobs click and the facet handle is spring loaded by that it’s it. Overall pretty good but some disappointments for the price. ... show more

  • Should give it 4 stars because it is a bit of a pain to put together, but kids love it, so I cant!
This was a great buy! My kids love it and on day 1 they have spent hours playing with it and not asking for TV every 5 mins! I have a 3yr old and a 1yr old, both boys. Yes, it is a little bit of a pain to put together, I would highly recommend a drill to do. My husband put it together in about a hour, without one...he left his at work :/...he did it manually with a screw driver and it gave him fits a few times. None of the holes are open, and some are not even marked, but it is pretty clear where they go. But the instructions are easy to follow and it is such a cute kitchen! ... show more
