Love this little kitchen. Just arrived so I can’t rate on durability, but it seems quite sturdy. No issues putting it together. My husband used a drill for the screw holes. Got this for my 22 month old grandson. Can’t wait for him to see it. Plus it comes with so many accessories! One thing we discovered is that the batteries for stove top sounds don’t have a bottom cover holding them in place. At first the stove wouldn’t make noise unless we pressed very hard on the burner. Checked batteries and realized they came loose. Pressed them back in place and everything works. If this becomes a problem we will just tape them in place. Highly recommend this product. Had this delivered today and I am pleased with this purchase. Husband and 13yr old son assembled. It does require you to install screws so definitely use a power drill. It is sturdy and it does have backing so it's not open and hollow in the back. Makes frying and boiling sounds. Opens and closes. Mustard and ketchup bottles have to be snapped together. Salt and pepper are hollow. Coffee pot burner does not make sounds. Stickers do need to be applied. Took about 20 minutes to assemble. It's nice and sturdy. Holds up better against a wall. My toddler kept pushing up against it and it tends to fall backwards. Other then that it's definitely worth it. ... show more

This is a really cute kitchen. It came with everything you see except the basket of food sitting above the sink (bought separately). I read a lot of reviews stating the holes weren’t pre drilled, hard to push in the hooks etc. I had no issues. The holes where the screws go have a slight indentation, you just need to push a little harder on the screwdriver to get them in. The hook areas were all drilled thru the plastic. You do have to push them pretty hard to get them in but I had no issues. You do need to have strong finger/hand strength but it was easy. I’m a female and put 98% of it together myself. I only needed someone to help me press the back and bottom together when I was putting the 2 side screws in so I got a tight fit. I highly recommend this kitchen. Not difficult to put together as long as you have hand strength to push a screw through plastic while turning the screwdriver. I can see where it would be hard for someone with arthritis. I ordered this for my 6 yr old autistic granddaughter to encourage imaginative play. It took about 30 minutes to assembly with the decals taking the most time. It is very sturdy and quite eye appealing. My granddaughter took to it right away. She really likes the shiny pots and the lights and sound of the burner.
