This part was an easy install on my engine. Worked perfectly right away. If your engine does not have a fuel shutoff valve I suggest you buy one of those along with the pump.

    • Only a quick cheap fix that you'll have to replace soon after.
Worked great for about a month and then all the sudden it wouldn't pull fuel from the tank. Lost all its suction. I replaced it with a factory replacement and I'm good to go again.

Just like the original. Somewhat embarrassed to say that I really didn't need this. My JD lawn tractor would die from lack of fuel after running fine for about an hour. Turned out that the vent on the gas cap was clogged and didn't allow any air into the tank. Eventually the pump could no longer draw any fuel. Now I have a spare fuel pump. ... show more

Replacement for the original Mikuni aluminum pump (lasted 8 yrs.). The price was fair, arrived on time, Plastic case, only time will tell if it measures up to the original Mikuni. Overall, so far, so good. D
