  • STEM Robot kit
This was so fun to build! There were a lot of small pieces. There instructions were laid out perfectly. It didn’t take too long. We enjoyed the time away from screens. Would recommend.

  • Super cool STEM toy
This is such a fun project to do with your kids. It'd be a bit complicated for a six year old on their own. Maybe even for older kids. But that's a plus, as far as I'm concerned. More time spent doing a fun project with my daughter. The pieces are high quality. The instructions are quite good, but maybe a little hard to follow in some parts. It has multiple forms that you can create. So, it's a good value, since it's like having 5 different projects. The app is pretty decent as well, which isn't always the case with things like this. The one criticism that I have is that the description gives conflicting age ranges. The box says 6+, one paragraph on the description says 8-12, and then the same paragraph says "nice gifts for 9 year old boy." I really have a problem with that last one. Girls aren't allowed to build robots? And you'd think 6+ should cover it. Though, given the complexity, I'd probably say 9+, personally. ... show more

  • An AMAZING technics type build; awesome performance a and great price
I've had many issues with clone-technic kits that I've gotten, built, and reviewed over the last couple years. This one really makes up for many that I thought were a waste of time and plastic. This is also the first time that I wish that I knew how to make a video of such and post it (at 70+ I'm more than a wee bit of a luddite.) This is a great set, that gives everything it promises and abit more. The bricks/parts are very well crafted (and work perfectly with Lego Technic), the design and engineering of the model that I made (the A "robot") was very good with decent instructions that covered 4 of the builds (the 5th was in a separate booklet), and the model ran amazing well and was quite sturdy. It's very fast, alittle tough to control for an oldie, but you can actually perform some amazing stunts with it (I love the "breakdancing", if you can catch it on end and do very fast spins in place, and catching it right to land back upright and full tilt another direction entirely) and it's study enough that it didn't come apart in all my dueling with it and another bot of like persuasion. The instructions are very good, and have "bots" that could be built by some younger folks probably, though you do need good hand strength and some good coordination for some of the multiple pin insertion steps. I'd suggest this as 9-12 for ages for building. There's a complete parts listing, as well as a full sheet of pretty festive decals, though I didn't apply them. I did like them as they were nicely colorful, and most I noted stayed at the one decal per piece, though I didn't check them thoroughly enough to be sure of that totally. The ONLY thing that I found any problems with was the lighting parts, as they tend to sometimes slip out of their "sockets", but even that was very easy to just slip them right back into place. They change colors as you applied different directions and combos to the unit. And included is a very unique tool that I've not quite figured all the uses for, but it seems fairly well thought out. There is one part that is slightly difficult to figure out how to fit easily; it's the rubber bits that go into every other track bit. This provides excellent bare floor traction, and is really great for it's running. I found that if I just lay the rubber bit studs up on the table, and quickly and EVENLY press the track bit onto them, they went fairly fast and easily together, though the first one took my about 5 minutes of maneuvering to get it into correct placement via just finger pressing. This was parts complete with extras, has a rechargeable main battery for the "bot", and at less than $50 I think it's an amazing value for the set. It does require 2 AA batteries for the controller which worked fine with my standard rechargeable double A's. ... show more

  • 🛠️ 5 builds, strong motor, app control—premium components & quality. Fantastic value! 🚀
The media could not be loaded. 🚀🚀🚀 Clarification: This product features premium pieces, as indicated by the Mechanical Master logo displayed on the items themselves - see the images for reference. These are top-of-the-line components! Each is individually numbered and logged in the rulebook! High-Quality STEM Robot Kit That Rivals Premium Brands This building set really impressed me. It offers great quality, strong performance, and real educational value, all at a price that’s tough to match. 🏗 Build Quality That’ll Fill You with DETERMINATION Compared to those well-known Danish building blocks, these are just as good. The ABS plastic feels sturdy, the pieces snap together with a satisfying click, and once built, everything stays together, even during high-speed crashes and jumps. ⚡ Powerful Motor Performance (Video Proof Included!) This is not a flimsy toy robot. The motor is strong enough for gravel, grass, and sand, and it can do 360° spins and rough-terrain stunts easily. I included a video so you can see the power for yourself. It’s genuinely impressive. 🧩 554 Pieces, 5 Fun Builds You get five different models in one kit: a battle tank, robot racer, bulldozer, rolling cube, and racing car. Every piece is accounted for and clearly listed, with a few extras thrown in. Building feels like solving a series of puzzles, and finishing each model is a rewarding experience. 🎮 Dual Control for More Ways to Play The 2.4GHz remote works perfectly, but the smartphone app makes it even better. Steering wheel mode feels realistic, path plotting lets you draw your own course, and the block-based programming mode is a great way to introduce coding concepts. It’s fun and educational at the same time. 🎓 STEM Education That Keeps Kids Interested The step-by-step instructions are clear, and the builds encourage real engineering thinking. My child gained problem-solving skills, patience, and fine motor development while having a blast. It’s a great way to swap screen time for hands-on creativity. 💰 Great Value for the Price For the price, you get five buildable models, remote and app controls, a rechargeable battery, and hours of replay value. The 2.4GHz system lets several kids play and race together without interference, which is a big plus for families. 🎁 Ready to Give as a Gift It comes in a beautiful box that looks and feels high-quality, making it a great gift for birthdays or holidays. The suggested age range is 8 to 12, but I had just as much fun building and driving it myself. 👍 Pros * High-quality ABS pieces with tight connections * 5 models in one kit with clear instructions * Powerful motor handles rough terrain * Dual control: remote and smartphone app * Block-based programming introduces coding * Great STEM learning value * Rechargeable battery & multiplayer-ready controls * Premium gift packaging 👎 Cons / Things to Improve * None so far. Everything has exceeded my expectations. 💡 Final Verdict This kit really stands out for its excellent quality, strong performance, engaging STEM content, and great value. Whether you want to teach kids about engineering or just build something cool that actually works, this kit delivers. Would I buy again? Absolutely. I’m already planning to get a second set so I can combine motors and build something even bigger and stronger! I'll compare this to a new set I'm getting from a different company in a review soon! ... show more
