It was simple enough that my 9 year old grandson almost put it together by himself. The area he had trouble with was the initial assembly of the motor box. There are several parts that are similar, but not well labeled. It took a process of elimination for me figure out where a couple of the axles and gears should be placed. One axle in particular took significant force to insert. Other then that, my grandson was able to follow the directions without problem and had it up and running in no time. ... show more

    • Solar charged battery doesn't last long.
Lots of building options is nice. Instructions weren't the clearest and some of the assembly parts are difficult to put together. Plus you may need snips to clip off the extra plastic when removing from the kit.

I built it with my grandson. Works and neat all the different power options but pieces are too small and numerous I would say at least twelve

    • Cheap material, fun for kids
Its fun for kids to assemble and learn something. Material used is cheap and solar charged battery does not last long. Quality wise this product could be better. Kids enjoyed assembling the pieces and learned out of it. All together its good product to gift and fun play for kids.
