  • Bringing down the colony

I have used this since the last option didn't pan out as greatly as I had expected. Over the last few weeks I have seen an improvement with less visual appearances of ants. Seems that once they find your house, they are not going to leave it and really don't like you killing them inside it. But alas that is why you have to find a solution or a few of them to work for you and battle them at a source. These traps are easy to pop out and place, just remove the silver foil and drop them in the areas pron to infestation. Its good to look to see if you have spiders anywhere in your house, you might find how the ants are getting in by their locations. These traps seem to be helping to progress their downfall, but crazy ants are a mess to deal with, I hope something works. I will update if this doesn't continue to work. Also if you have pets, this might not be the best option for you. ... show more

  • This liquid ant bait set could not have come at a more perfect time
Size: 8 Count
Every spring we get these little tiny sugar ants in our bathrooms and kitchen. It's that time of year and they've already started to make an appearance. So 10 days ago I put out a couple of these ant baits in the kitchen and a bathroom and within 2 days they were virtually gone. The first 24 to 48 hours they were swarming the bait so be prepared for a massive amount of ants collecting around the bait trap. After that they take the bait back to the nest and kill the other ants and including the queen according to the instructions on the box. Then no more ants for weeks! They're very easy to use. You just pull the foil off and place them where you need to. They shouldn't be moved once they've been placed because the ants continue to go back to the same area. So if you need to put them in different places this comes with 8 bait traps which should be enough for most houses. ... show more

  • Great for your arsenal of ant baits (for rotation of different ant baits every few weeks)
Size: 8 Count
This was super easy to use with the foil tab. I usually use gloves and put a foil under the baits to catch anything that spills over from ants. There's a sponge inside for the liquid bait, and I think this helps if you have pets or children because the sponge keeps the liquid more or less contained, but the traps are kind of small so I feel like a pet can eat the whole thing accidentally. The ants swarmed this. I am not sure what type of ants they were but it worked. Lots of swarming in 12 to 24 hours. I placed it in the middle of an ant trail. If you cannot place in ant trail, try to use a paper and make an ant go nearby the bait and it will probably work. I do like that I can use this in the rotation for the ant bait that I have because I find that if we keep using the same bait, some ants become immune to it and eventually it's like I'm feeding them free food. ... show more

  • So Far, So Good!
Size: 8 Count
Every year as soon as the weather starts to get warm, the ants begin to appear. I try to keep everything meticulously clean, but so far I've already seen two ants in two different places in my house. I put out ant traps/bait every year, and hadn't purchased any yet for this year when the opportunity to try this Stem bait by S.C. Johnson came along. The baits have a liquid in them and are packaged with a removable foil cover to keep them from spilling or evaporating. I got none of the liquid on my hands either removing the foil, or when I moved the baits to where I was placing them. The instructions, which are very clear and thorough, state that they kill most common ants, including carpenter ants, and lists all the ants they do kill. Time will tell if it works well, but since placing the baits in position I have not seen another ant. I will update my review if I have anything new to report, but I'm happy to have this ant bait, and look forward to an ant-free spring! ... show more

  • Not too sure
Size: 8 Count
I'm not 100% sure this is working. I've put them in known ant activity areas and still have ants. It's been 3 weeks and I figured that's all be killed off by now. Activity has been reduced, but is still present.

  • Slay (the) Queen!
Size: 8 Count
This works! The weather is getting warmer and the ants, they are a-comin'. Thankfully, they don't get into the house, but they do get into our workshop, so I set the traps out. These are liquid traps but as clumsy as I am, these were very easy to set up and I didn't spill any liquid anywhere. Before using these, I've only seen a handful of ants in the workshop. Then again, it is very early spring, so they're not out in full force yet, but since putting these traps down, we haven't spotted any ants yet. We have a whole spring and summer to get through but so far, so good. No ants! ... show more

  • Doesn't work for all ants, your experience may vary
Size: 8 Count
It’s that time of the year when it’s time to set the ant traps out. We normally use Terro ant bait, but I wanted to try something new. I have no idea why this is called a liquid. It’s nothing like the Terro ones. I still put them out and the number of ants has not gone down by much.
