I got this kit for my kiddos (their age range 5, 7, 10), and it turned into such an exciting project for all of us. They each had their own build to work on, and it was awesome watching them not only construct the robots but also present and explain how the circuits and solar power worked. The size of each was perfect and moved with no issues. It really sparked their curiosity and made science come alive in a hands-on way. The kit came with all the parts needed, the quality was solid, and it was easy enough for them to follow along while still being challenging. It was the perfect balance of fun and learning, and honestly a great value since each child had their own project to be proud of. Definitely recommend for homeschooling, family projects, or just getting kids excited about STEM!

Fun STEM kits for your future “engineer”!! My six year old really likes hands on creative projects like these. (I personally like the variety / different styles in the kit.) The pieces seem to be well built. The instructions were pretty simple to follow along with. The perfect kits for individual learning time or make one as a fun family project! When I got this as a Vine item, the set was $19.99. Fair price in my opinion. It’s currently on sale for $12.99. Even better deal!!

Anything that teaches science to kids, I will order quickly as a gift. And with this set from Wesayee Store, having 4 kits, that’s a great deal!! Kids can build a tank, car, robot, and flower fan. Everything the kiddo needs is in each bag, except batteries (you will need that for the tank). Glad I saw that info in the ad before I gave this as a gift! Depending on the kid, these sets can be built alone or with an adult’s help. But I will tell you that these sets are great for any gender so I wished vendors would take out the reference to boys in their ad.

This is a jump up in complexity from most "erector set" type kits. The maker did a fine job of putting all four kits into individual zip lock bags and writing a glossy instruction sheet for each one. The parts themselves are well made, as are the hardware and fittings. I temporarily connected the solar panel of the robot kit to the motor and took it outside. Ziiinnnngg! That motor really spons. If I listed my concerns and suggestions they would be: I'd open and built one kit at a time and not have more then one bag open at a time. Further, I'd put down a white or light color towel on the work surface to lessen the chance of losing little screws etc. The age listed as 6+ is a bit exaggerated I think. In my estimation 9+ might be closer unless an adult is going to sit right there and assist, and even then, the child will need good skills in interpreting instructions and sorting pieces. That's the only reason I gave this one four stars. Our grandsons are coming to visit in a week and we'll have fun building at least one of these kits, perhaps saving the other for another visit. If a followup review is warranted I'll come back and do that. Overall impression? Nice kit. Well designed and packaged / bagged. Nice choice of designs as almost all kids will jump into solar powered toys.
