I have been through about 8 different gaming mice since I started gaming on PC. I was loyal to a brand before thinking they had the best peripherals, but I always felt that something with the mouse was off-putting. I was able to get the wired version of this mouse on clearance for $12 one random day at Target, and this mouse quickly became my favorite gaming mouse that I had used to date. However, I guess my play style caused the connector for the USB cable to get damaged as it started to have momentary disconnects while using it. Fortunately SteelSeries makes this mouse in a wireless variant, and it is beyond amazing. I have large hands and this mouse has been the best for my grip. I purchased this mouse to replace the wired version of the same mouse. The product arrived quickly and packaged well for safe transport. There isn't much to these mice these days. The weight is extremely light. I typically prefer heavy mice that come with adjustable weights but they seem to be vanishing as technology evolves. This mouse feels very light and plasticky, basically it feels very cheap. The RGB is a nice feature but unfortunately in preservation of battery life it turns off the second it senses motion. This kind of defeats the purpose of RGB as I want it to shine brightly 24/7 non-stop. Once you stop moving the mouse it turns RGB on for a few seconds before "falling asleep". I don't see an adjustment to the auto-set "fall asleep" timer, but maybe I missed it. Currently the mouse seems to fall asleep extremely quickly, 5-10 seconds...so you basically can see RGB for 5-10 seconds after usage and before it falls asleep. I use this mouse with the included USB-C dongle. It is faster at waking up and reconnecting than the bluetooth connection. Battery life states "100 hours" which I think is a massive overstatement of a claim. I would say that with constant usage this mouse will last 10-14 hours. If I have a non-stop gaming session from 10am to 1am it will need recharging 100% of the time, even if I left it charging overnight. It will indicate the need to charge by changing to yellow, then to red. Charging seems to be quick, maybe an hour or so at most, but again, I leave it charging overnight. I would prefer if Steelseries utilized a heavier+powerful Samsung 18650 battery, or even TWO of them, this would make the mouse feel heavier (which I prefer), and provide a real two week long, non-stop usage, with brighter 100% on RGB LEDs, battery life. I would also be willing to pay a hefty premium for these style of mice to be made of solid metal, anodized aluminum ideally, rather than lightweight cheap plastic. For the mediocre performance and lack-luster RGB and questionable battery life, I would not recommend this to others as the value is simply not sufficient. ... show more

I love this thing! Battery life so far has been great! Over a week of heavy use and I haven't had to charge it!? The Type-C port for charging is super nice since most of my computer stuff is also type-C. Only downside were the mouse skates. They had a rough feel to them and kept dragging on my mouse pad. Tried with 2 different pads and the same issue. Purchased "Superglide" Skates and replaced them now this thing freaking rips. Over all solid mouse ... show more

Wow.....this is a great mouse!! I didn't expect to like it so much, but it's pretty great! Definitely killing it in the lightweight department, competing with the MM710 from Cooler Master for sure. The button clicks are muuuuch better than Steelseries' Sensei 310, Sensei Ten, and Rival 3, at least in my opinion. These feel like they will last 5+ years and still feel clicky & responsive. The scroll wheel however is almost exactly the same as those other Steelseries mice, which is okay but slips a little between notches every now & then and isn't the most crisp. It feels better than the other mice, with the scroll wheel being a little more accurate, but not as much as I would hope. The buttons do feel a little too easy to press and not as resistant as my mouse that I am replacing, the Razer Abyssus Essential. I'd give this a solid 8/10; if this mouse was slightly shorter length-wise and the scroll wheel & buttons improved, it would be a 10/10. ... show more
