  • Great Ratchets
Size: 3 Pc. Set (1/4, 3/8, & 1/2")
Very impressed with these so far. As soon as I opened them I could tell these are much better than the cheaper, non flex head set I had to return because they arrived rusty and wiggly. These ones seem to be made of higher quality steel and have a tapered sleeve/coupler on the extending mechanism with rubber o rings as opposed to generic cylindrical sleeve which results in less wiggle, but still some. The quick release buttons are also very light with very little resistance, so is the ratcheting mechanism. The flex heads are also semi-locking, they require a lot of force to move them (except for the smallest ratchet), which I like. Still wish it was fully locking though. Today I put the 3/8 drive to the test and attempted to crack my transmission drain bolt with the ratchet on the longest setting. I couldn’t do it, but that’s because I ran out of strength before the ratchet did, so that’s a good sign. My only complaint is that on the smallest ratchet, pressing the quick release button also flexes the head if you don’t hold it in place which is annoying but tolerable. If I had paid over 150 dollars for these I would have given them only 4 stars but at 70 dollars these exceed my expectations and will likely become my main set. I will update if there are any issues ... show more

  • A Must Have Tool
Size: 3 Pc. Set (1/4, 3/8, & 1/2")
Fantastic set to have. I use the 1/4" the most as it fits into the tight spaces and can give you some good leverage also. The other 2 get there fair share of use too. Full time Professional mechanics should have this type of ratchets set, BUT in the long run they would be better off finding the best quality swivel head extending ratchet's set they can find, like Snap on... as these will likly be your most used tool in your tool box. Over the years they will be worth the extra $$$. But, for me a retired mechanic on a budget this set is great... very good for DIY mechanics. The extra leverage these can provide will likely get abused because the extra length multiples the force on the head exponentially. I found myself using the 1/2 fully extended to apply mega force were i probably should have been using a 3/4 breaker bar. But it held up fine, so... yeah best money spent on a tool for me in a very long time ... show more

  • Almost Great...
Size: 3 Pc. Set (1/4, 3/8, & 1/2")
I have been rebuilding my 1996 Chevy's front end and a lot of other work for it. I bought these after watching a Chrisfix video. He had similar if not the same style of ratchets. For the most part they have been awesome and performed as promised. They have really allowed me to work in tight spaces and handled everything I have thrown at them. That is until today. I had to pull old parts off a junked truck today (lower control arms) and I broke the 3/8 inch head. I was using the extension for more leverage as they were intended. On the plus side the bolt broke free. I have not contacted them yet for a replacement. I will update the review once I see how the warranty is handled. I have included some pictures of what happened. I was surprised it broke. I have been using them regularly and this did not feel like a job that was too tough for the product. Update: Warrant process was painless and easy. I emailed [email protected]. They asked for some kind of proof of purchase and shipping details. (screen shot of amazon invoice). I received a new ratchet about a week after the whole process. I have no complaints and the replacement ratchet is has the same fit and finish and the first one. ... show more

  • It Works
Size: 1/2" Drive
This is a great tool. Its design makes it a flexible tool in more aspects than one. The flexible head and the extendable handle are additions that push it to the next level. It becomes one tool with multiple functions.

  • Durable ratchet
Size: 3/8" Drive
As a tech I use this ratchet a lot and with its extendable feature it makes it very easy to get a bolt loose especially with its swivel head making it better to get those bolts that are in weird spots. It took a long while with heavy usage to break but it’s worth it and instantly bought another one.

  • works well enough
Size: 3 Pc. Set (1/4, 3/8, & 1/2")
ok so i was super excited to get these as ive wanted a set of exstendable wratchets and these even have the flex heads no teh flex mechanism is sturdy adn holds well so its not floppy and the wratchet mechanism is firm and crisp ..... my only complain is that when the wratchet is fully exstended there is an amount of play adn does not lend well to confidence in teh tool holding under heavy torque applications i have used it however to tighten brake caliper bolts to spec and it did hold but like i said it doesnt instill confidence ... show more
