I bought two of these cabinets and I've logged back in to purchase a third. I love the color and that it's 4 doors. It was assembled as expected -- it's always a process to put these things together. I have mine in a commercial building and they're holding up well after 7 months of use. I don't have any denting or damage issues at all. The doors close evenly. If I were to have any issue with this, I would say that the locking feature is a bit stiff and sticky. It takes a slight bit of pressure to make it turn with the key. Super happy wit this purchase. Assembly was pretty straight forward almost no cursing along the way. Instructions are heavily picture based but not too bad. There were only one or two times I had to try and figure out what they were showing me. Once built the cabinet is super solid and has a nice feel to it. Everything is about the same weight and feel as an inexpensive filing cabinet but I think this is going to be perfect for my garage needs ... show more

    • STORAGE WITH A VIEW

I have a sewing studio and was drawn to the 4-door unit with glass upper doors. The physical dimensions originally posted were 4" wider and 3" deeper than the actual product. When I commented on this to the vendor, they thanked me. They were instructed to hold the order for approved change and chose to ignore my request and shipped within 12 hours of hold request. The cabinets were packaged well with steel reinforced end caps to protect corners. I ordered 6 cabinets and every single one had some sort of damage. The panel "D" took the most abuse, mostly from the box carton banding. The assembly instructions were well written and posed no issues. They included extra fasteners, glass points, and hinge springs along with extra shelf clips and fasteners. I recommend a two-person team to help square up and align the basic frame of the unit. The quality of material is good for what it cost. The truss head metal screws could have used another thread or two for better assembly. There is a locking mechanism for each door set and none are keyed alike. The doors don't stay closed very well without being locked, Will adjust level to help with that issue. Will be screwing them together and also running a safety screw into the back wall to prevent tipping as they are situated on a thick carpeted floor. Very disappointed that the dimensions were represented wrong and there was no way to compensate for their error. This was a big investment and when comparing with the competition, physical dimensions were key in my choice. May or may not be purchasing again from this vendor. STORAGE WITH A VIEW ... show more

I am realistic enough to neither expect nor demand heavy-duty metal, in the construction of these cabinets, for the price I paid. I got what I figured on, and the assembled cabinets are great for what I needed. I needed protection of my tools from weather, more than super-security against theft, but they do lock and that will deter any "I see it, I want it, I take it" impulses. They also keep the clutter of my activities somewhat out of view, which I'm sure the neighbors won't mind. The cabinets give me what I paid for, which really is all anyone operating at a very "budget" price point has a right to expect. I am 75, single female, and a DIYS'er. I had absolutely no problem at all putting it together until I hit the top piece! Following the directions, which warned it might take two on that part, it didn't work at all from any direction or scheming! Even TWO STRONG people wouldn't be able to 'shrink-press' that piece of metal, so I used the pliers to bend one corner just a tad, enough to get it to sit right. (That little tweak is not at all noticeable.) When done, I was and am still, absolutely delighted at the beauty and sturdiness of it! ... show more
